Ben and Callum are greatly over used they need some down time.

The scriptwriters appear at a complete loss with Bobby Beale, recasting the character has not added much.

The Taylor's should have received greater screen time since Chantelle was murdered.

Callum is disgustingly attractive, I like him as a character too but Ballum are definitely very boring. They're nowhere near as intolerably shoved in our faces as Stendan in HO were but meh

Bobby is more interesting than he has ever been tbh.

 

Ballum are overused but it’s to be expected. It’s a shame Iqra and Ash can’t get that kind of screen time.

I'm surprised you say that - the Bobby recast has improved the character leaps and bounds and I'd say he's probably got one of the most complex and interesting story arcs on the show. There's still so much more than can be done with him!

i dont know what to make of Bobby, dont mind if he stays and wouldnt be disappointed if he left, good scenes with Denise tonight.

The problem is that Ben is emotionally abusive towards Callum but they play it out like a love story. They wouldn’t have done that with Gray and Chantelle but they do here.

Callum I’m less keen on. I liked him when he first arrived when he was this dopey, likeable shy kinda character but since he got with Ben I’m not so keen. They just don’t really work together like I don’t buy their relationship or have any interest in it.

On another note Lola is so underused! They’ve brought her back for what she’s been back like a year now and I swear she’s not had a single story.

Love Stuart and Rainie. She’s always been amazing and taking him away from the Carters was the best move ever. Made up for their news even though once again woman is pregnant after being told it can’t happen.

18 months this week and genuinely nothing other than getting back with Jay and a brief thing with Peter. I wish they'd give her a storyline to get to grips with

She’s well overdue a story! She’s definitely capable as an actress in her first stint when she was given good material she shone but she’s never been used properly unfortunately.

 

Hopefully that changes soon. At the moment though she barely does anything it was hardly worth having her back. I’d like to see her mix more with other females on the show though and have scenes away from The Mitchell’s.

Lola as we saw before can deliver good scenes if given the right material but she hasnt had any since her return.
