I’m liking seeing Vinny too when he’s away from his brothers. Although I like them as a family unit too I have to say I like Vinny more when he’s working for Ruby etc.

The one that is dating Habiba really is the weak link of the family imo other wise I would enjoy them a lot as a family unit . He never comes off natural .

I actually feel Jags has improved a bit since the return. Not the strongest actor but they’ve finally given him some sort of personality.

Frankie was refreshing breath of fresh air until tonight where you can just see something sinister is going to happen with Ollie and I’m not here for that

I’m intrigued at where that’s gonna go.

 

Is she gonna think Ollie is her brother, is her brother really dead.

 

Just who is she?! I was liking her but I hope if they do go down the villain route for her that there ends up being a way back (Jennie in Corrie and Sienna in Hollyoaks type vibes).

 

The Chantelle story is giving us those glimmers of hope.

Which make it all the more sad we know the ending. Her and Kheerat have such chemistry too I’m hoping that he’s involved in the downfall of Gray and that he informs the police or Chantelle’s family about her plans to leave him.

 

I’m worried though that he’s gonna go and batter Gray and come off as the bad guy.

 

Its hard to call where its going to go but hopefully it will be a good storyline, anyone fed up of Dotty, she is one that could easily go and visit Dot and stay there.

I wasn’t expecting that name at all!

It does however say on Digital Spy that the door is being left open so there’s a possibility of a return and it doesn’t look like he’s being killed off.

 

I think Max could be one of those characters who is likely to return later down the line but this news is making me think the Christmas return is one of Lauren or Tanya and that they are part of his final story.

 

I'm surprised but it's no big loss really. As a character, Max has been treading water and a bit lost really since they decided to write out by Lauren and Abi at the same time. He doesn't work without his immediate family at all, imo.

Max hasn't had anything significant to do in ages so I'm not disappointed to see him go, though I'm not sure I saw it coming. Nevertheless, I hope it's a strong exit, Jake always excels when they actually give him material!

Agreed on this point too. However I do think this has come at a wrong time given the show is already lacking in familiarity and powerhouse performers. Hopefully they'll start giving the likes of Sonia and Denise more to do!

 

I wonder if this character's exit has anything to do with the "major" return at Christmas? Can already see lots of Simon Ashdown penned episodes coming up.

That character is exhausted now and they should have left a few years ago. I’m surprised but not sad about the news. Great actor, spent character.

Great actor but let down by little to do for too long, deserves a good exit storyline.
