It was pretty much stated tonight that Mick was abused. I just can’t see more than lots of misery to come from this. And awards for Danny Dyer :drama:

She could be a great long term addition to the show if they keep her as she is now a villain but one who isn’t a killer. If they go and make her a killer she’ll end up having a shelf life. Hopefully they make Ben Staceys attacker as revenge for what she did to Phil or something like that :lol:

My prediction is that it will be less iconic than the time Abi attacked her.

Of course Denise finally gets a storyline and it’s all about Ben and Phil. ROLL EYES!

I sat there thinking you just know she will get a not guilty verdict because Gray came to save the day. Whitney will have a glimmer of hope before something else comes along to ruin her life. Actually I think a shock immediate exit would be better for her

Chelsea, played by Zaraah Abrahams this time round! Happy enough with a recast because the character's felt like a notable omission from Denise's life for a while, it'll be good to have her back in some form.

Love how they've added Kellie Bright and Linda Henry to raise the acting standard in the domestic abuse storyline. I loved Shirley's scenes tonight and Linda Henry finally being given something to do - to think this is only a taster of what is to come with Mick's storyline!

 

Also, I think Denise having a go at Phil should be a scene in every episode. So refreshing to see someone give him a piece of their mind and not back down.

Michaela White *.* not too bothered about the recast as this character has been gone a decade and the last actor was no great shakes.

 

So pleased that Denise is getting a lot of material that isn’t eating from bins and studying for one GCSE.
