Denny is a really REALLY bad actor, so for that alone they could kill him off. They have a track record for killing off legacy characters and being short-sighted.

Also, what has happened to the fight and action scenes?! Comic sound effects, dodgy camera angles, awful action. They might as well just put up old Batman kapow! Bash! Etc on the screen. Man alive do they love weak Keanu. They now have him harder than Phil!

Tbh Keanu should be able to take on Phil. Phil is an overweight 60 year old on his second liver who has had at least one heart attack and been shot a ridiculous amount of times and is constantly being knocked out by people like Stacey and Billy. Saying that, Keanu is catching up to him in terms of getting shot.

I’m the most excited I’ve been to watch since the who killed Lucy reveal! My last guess for the death is Denny, even though I don’t want him to die.

I WANT it to be Keanu, but he is superman at this point like Warren from Hollyoaks. It will be a woman, so probably Bex.
I gonna say Denny or Bex as my last ditch guess but I'd have Linda in the mix too. I keep changing my mind the more I look back on the week, which is a good thing because they've left it looking like it could be one of many characters so there's still gonna be that suspense until I know who it is. This is definitely the most excited I've been for a soap episode since Who Killed Lucy too! I wish the soaps did this more often, Hollyoaks is quite good at unexpected deaths and shock exits and it's always effective when don't know for months beforehand (which won't be the case if Bex dies but we'll see ).

This storyline has really got me back into Eastenders it's been great. Hoping it isn't Keanu who dies because of the uneventfulness.

Leaning towards Dennis because he left a voicemail for Sharon saying that Ian locked him in a room, so that'll create a storyline if he dies and she hears it and blames Ian

Imagine if it's just Keanu who dies and nobody else

My official prediction is Keanu with Denny being a second shock death.

Phil is an overweight 60 year old on his second liver

I literally just spit my drink out at this!!!

Unless it’s like a red herring the spoilers for next weeks episode included Karen and Keegan and the way they were acting or set to act if the spoilers are correct aren’t how you’d act if you’d just lost your son / brother.

I’m going out tonight so I’m going to miss it  Gonna avoid the spoilers and hopefully watch it first thing
Yeah I’m going for either Denny or Bex. I hope it’s not Keanu as that would be quite anticlimactic to a good week .

It was a good episode however I feel like the build up episodes this week were actually a lot stronger. Maybe this one could've benefitted from being a little bit longer

I agree!

I kept thinking Ben was gonna die when the cameras were zooming in on him and they were echoing the sounds when people were talking to him.

But I totally see how it’s a Greek tragedy now and can see how it creates stories to last for the next year. Everyone close to Sharon being in some form responsible and it possibly bringing the Mitchell’s and Sharon closer together, dividing Ian and Sharon. They really went bold! What an ending for Dennis though how bold to kill off one son and give birth to another on the same day and kill off a teen too. Letitia Dean is gonna be amazing next week I can tell already.

Edit: Ben is deaf isn’t he so perhaps that explains those scenes with him.

Shook is not the word.

So my final hunch was correct and the storyline possibilities for Sharon now seem endless. It was all very well played out and I’m certain it will continue to be gripping (no live segments mean these stories won’t just get dropped for a few months like the previous anniversaries) but I am still concerned about this outcome being short sighted. Like Lucy Beale dying, Denny is a character that still had bags of potential and though this is a great story right now, I feel it may hamper the future a bit. The Beales are only now recovering from the long term butchering the family got from losing Lucy. I hope the same won’t happen to Sharon but we will see. She better not name her new son Dennis.

I can buy Mick and Linda’s marriage being back on track but her alcoholism can’t just go away and will need to cause some sort of issues for the Carters going forward.

I didn't watch the earlier episodes in the week, just watched them this evening prior to that episode, it just made more sense to me, one gives birth, while her eldest son dies. I really thought it would be Bex and Keanu as I knew they were both leaving. And I did chuck Mick in the mix as I knew he had a fear of water.

I wouldn't be surprised Sharon will name him Dennis :D that be kinda quite inspirational.

And is anyone going to find Callum, or is he the other death.

Overall great episode, considering it was 35th Anniversary the episode should have been an hour long, kinda missed an opportunity there

Can we also all give credit to Natalie Cassidy.

For such a dramatic episode her scene was really needed when she said she played her trumpet to get rid of the police. I screamed at that part

I too giggled at the trumpet line.

I knew Bex was safe, it’s just rinse and repeat with her. Sheepishly apologise to her parents in hospital after doing something monumentally stupid. Are we sure she got into Oxford?

Also Bex is indirectly responsible for Denny’s death by telling Ian about what he did. In a way, so many characters played their part in the outcome.

I cracked up at that.
