Dave's performance of 'Black' was easily the highlight of the night's performances for me, really glad he chose to perform that. I'd love to see it making a return to the chart somehow (it having a peak of only #40 is a real shame) although I doubt it'll happen, nice to see it decently high up iTunes at least! Harry's performance was great as well (and a perfect song choice too) so happy to see that having a big impact.

 

Lol at 'Someone You Loved' overtaking 'Before You Go' xx also a little surprised at Celeste not being higher up yet, I'm not a fan of the song but it seems like the kind of song that should connect pretty well with a BRITs performance in a similar way to how 'Falling' has.

Harry managed to get more than one recognisable hit with the GP this era in a way I don’t think he did with his debut. I think Fine Line showed major progression too! So I’m here for this being a continued success.

Just watching Dave's performance now, it's just making me wish we had Sam Fender right after to perform 'White Privilege'. :lol: Imagine that 1-2 punch *.*

'Black' only spent 2 weeks in the top 100 so it should still be on SCR, I don't know how much of a streaming boost it's likely to get anyway though (and I imagine all of the rest of his album should see some streaming uptick as well anyway since he won AOTY).

Yeh I did that and went through to page 3 past Dave Clarke Five, Dave Dee and the rest but 'Black doesn't appear 🤔 Just 'Funky Friday', 'Location', 'Disaster', 'No Words', 'Wanna Know', 'Stinking Rich' & 'Thiago Silva'.

kinda subdued effect for billie, was expecting a huge increase

same for Black

 

oh and Celeste totally performed the wrong song, not the biggest fan but she has this song

that sounds a bit like Duffy-Rockferry, Stop This Flame, that's sure a more attention-grabbing song
