Too late. She promo'd and performed 'Shallow' on Ellen instead.

She better capitalise on this real quick as the gays (=internet) like to go through their icons almost as much as Rihanna likes to tease us with news about new music.

This whole thing still feels absolutely insane.

Also I think after watching this video the gays will stop saying she's better than Gaga. She's extremely good, yes, but still far from the Gaga levels. amiright ladies?

Am I the only one who's sick of seeing this woman? It was so clearly set up, are we that bored waiting for Gaga to do something we have to make an "icon" out of this random woman who sings Shallow servicably??
if this was a set up that's how it should be done! *.*
I’m pissed that this was a set up

do i smell jealousy or is it your natural odour?

i'm sorry to everyone who thinks they were duped and wasted hours and hours of their life watching the video and buying Charlotte's entire discography that definitely exists and is available literally everywhere. oh WAIT..

Lady Gaga viral sensation Charlotte Awbery is releasing Shallow as her first single, obviously

After making her TV debut on The Ellen Show last week, YouTube viral sensation Charlotte Awbery reached new heights to speak to Lorraine today where she shut down accusations the clip which made her a worldwide name was set up and confirmed her first single. In a matter of days, the ‘Subway singer’ – as she’s been hailed in the US – has gone from total obscurity to boasting almost 700,000 Instagram followers – including Ariana Grande. Really. Charlotte was minding her own business getting the tube when a comedian shoved a microphone in her face and started singing Lady Gaga’s Shallow, hoping a commuter could sing the next line. Charlotte didn’t just sing it, she SANG. Subsequently, the video racked up over 60 million hits in less than a week and she’s rubbing shoulders with A-listers. The 31-year-old told Lorraine she was just rushing to meet a friend in Liverpool Street and had no idea what she was walking in to. ‘It was random, it was mad, thankfully I knew the song!’ she laughed.

And it will come as no surprise that Charlotte is now planning on releasing Gaga’s Oscar-winning leading track form A Star Is Born, which she blasted once again acapella for Lorraine with the full force of Mother Monster herself first thing on a Monday morning. ‘I write all my own stuff, hopefully, fingers crossed I can show people my own music,’ Charlotte enthused. ‘Everyone’s been asking me to do the cover of it so I’m actually going to be releasing a single of it.’ Charlotte, we salute you.
