I was a little disappointed with Asido in 2017 but stardew completely reignites my love for them
I looove 'Asido' and enjoyed 'stardew' when I listened to it a few hours ago! Also that's some striking cover art~

Wow was 'Asido' really 3 years ago now??

I didn't like that song at all but 'stardew' is definitely a lot better, probably my favourite song from them since the 'Shrines' era as I wasn't really that keen on the singles from their last album either.

Purity Ring absolutely one of my favourite bands of the last decade and I'm beginning to really love 'Stardew' now, up there with their best.

I've bought a ticket to their London show, can't miss them if they're doing a few here, I saw them in 2015 and they are incredible live.

Not overly keen on 'pink lightning' but 'peacefall' is great, even better than 'stardew' I thinks!

'pink lightning' was actually already out there a few weeks back via their website, I'm glad I didn't listen to it then though as it would have been another very underwhelming comeback :')

'stardew' and 'peacefall' are wonderful, the former has some really wonderful bits, glad they've kept their high-quality streak up.

Really good overall. Not a fan of the first three songs but 'i like the devil' gets it going.

i'm still so obsessed with 'stardew' and 'vehemence' has just joined the party. the instrumental parts in it are probably the best thing i've heard this year thus far.

Decided to give this album a try but unfortunately finding it all pretty middling and wishy washy apart from 'peacefall' and 'stardew' :( I didn't have super high expectations but I was hoping at least one other song on there would come close to those two. The best of the album tracks is probably either 'vehemence' or 'silkspun' but they're both like 7/10 songs at a push (same for 'i like the devil'). Ah well, at least 'peacefall' is still great, they managed to recapture their old magic for one song ~

Still not got round to listening to this yet oop :( it also missed the Top 100 this week which is a shame when the last two made it (Shrines only just at #100 and Another Eternity at #61).

It did get to #56 on sales and #20 on vinyls.

Haven't heard this yet (bought and loved Shrines back in the day, but missed out on asido) but this is quite a thing :o

Would be interested to see Gooddelta's thoughts on this! I don't actually hate it.

What's more concerning is that very recently there are now people at work who were born AFTER the original was released. Seriously!
