Still midweek #2, but it seems that this could be in danger of slipping to #3 by Friday... Michael Ball/Alfie Boe had a surge in sales today :cry:

 

If Steps do end up at #3, it would be with the highest sales needed to place at #3 in 2020. The previous highest is 17,515, Steps have already sold 27,327. Let's hope for the best! #3 would still be great at this time of year.

I was at my local Morrisons tonight and there were no Steps CDs stocked but plenty of Gary and Boe/Ball... Kylie was there a few weeks ago and McFly are still in stock, Melanie C was even stocked there... why no Steps?

I realised today that Steps are on course to sell more at #3* this week than Michael Ball/Alfie Boe sold to be #1 last week :drama: Unfortunate timing!

I really hope Steps dont lose out on the Number 2 but its going to be close.

They’ve announced on Instagram if you order the album you’ll be entered into a prize drawer for a virtual meet and greet, hopefully that’ll help.

It should help draw in a few more sales, i know they have a 4k lead over Ball and Boe but hopefully its enough.,

BMG always coming through to put in the elbow grease on the release weeks for their acts. I take my hat off to them!

Nice, just bought the Night In/Night Out bundles, though I already had tab CD, Claire cassette (my fav member back in the day and thought it would be less likely to be popular :lol: ) and the vinyl pic disc, hope I win :lol:

 

But honestly, I’m impressed how solid the album is especially given the diversity of writers. Father’s Eyes (co-written by BJSC star Ina Wroldsen) is my jam right now but it keeps changing :D

I wonder have they any upcoming promo, great if they could get a strictly performance slot.

My copy arrived late, didn't receive it until yesterday .

I've had a couple of listens now... it's a decent album but nothing's really wowing me in the way the three main singles have (assuming 'To the Beat of My Heart' is the next single). 'Heartbreak in This City' is my main takeaway from the new tracks, really reminds me of one of their earlier songs.

 

Still got my fingers crossed that they'll be #2 in the charts though - I reckon they can do it! Could they nudge passed 40k too?

 

I had a re-listen to 'Tears on the Dancefloor' last night; I remember it being wall-to-wall bangers but I had forgotten just how much I loved some of the songs!
