Posted February 27, 20206 yr Waze & Odyssey are back with a new single. Sampling George Michael & Mary J. Blige’s #4 hit As from 1999 (which itself is a cover of Stevie Wonder), this 2020 production looks set to be a decent dance offering for this week! @1231128873611464706
February 27, 20206 yr I hope Waze and Odyssey get another hit as their only charting single is rather tainted now sadly.
February 29, 20206 yr Yes, I like a bit of gospel house, hopefully this isn't too old school sounding to become a hit.
February 29, 20206 yr Author Yes, I like a bit of gospel house, hopefully this isn't too old school sounding to become a hit. It’s doing very well on iTunes right now, managed to climb into Top 50 now!
March 1, 20206 yr Heard this on Kiss Dance earlier and that sample was bugging me for ages! Liking it initially though
April 28, 20206 yr oh my heard this a couple times and it was driving me crazy cos I knew it was George Michael's voice but couldn't recognise the voice... and I was mentally going thru all of GM's discography but nothing fitted... for a while I was convinced it was Fast Love :D I ended up having to google it... so basically it's a sorta speed-up remixed version of As...
May 6, 20206 yr I guess because it’s a reworked vocal and not a complete re-record they’ve got to be credited somewhere. It’s a bit of a mouthful
