She's back at #6 in the UK. The worldwide jump is thanks to the German position. Germany is Europe's biggest country in terms of sales, compared to the others where you need 10 downloads to reach the top. I'm surprised Germany is embracing her again. All the singles after The Moment You Believe didn't get any attention there.

Where it is on German iTunes?

Also she is back down to #7 on UK iTunes now tbh I am pleasantly surprised she is still top 10 thought she would have nose dived by now.

According to Digital Sales Data she's estimated to have sold 60 downloads in Germany over the past 24 hours to place at #6. It's healthier than many other European countries, but sadly still not great.

The #100 song download in the UK this week sold 217 copies, and Who I Am isn't within the Top 100, therefore it sold less than that on Thursday. This certainly demonstrates how little it takes to make an impact on UK iTunes nowadays! Hopefully she'll sell enough downloads over the course of this week to enter the download chart next week.

Do you think there is a possibility that you will enter the top 200 of Singles?

There isn't a Top 200 singles chart here any more, just a Top 100. #100 in the official chart this week sold just under 5,400 units. Unfortunately Melanie C won't be achieving anywhere near enough streams to get that many sales next week. :(

UK is the biggest market in Europe, Germany comes second and then France. iTunes means almost nothing these days, that's not how modern people consume music in western countries nowadays. It's streaming for younger people/music fans and radio for general public and casuals. 20+ year old acts won't chart easily on singles chart because they need streams and radio support to get there but they can still do well on albums chart since older fans are still buying albums. Melanie just needs a couple more great tracks, some radio support and proper promos to sell this album but doing promos is a problem here.

Sweeden:

#6, Total sales = 7

#9, Total sales = 5

I could be the queen of Sweeden too

Yes, I agree. If you take a look around, non-fans are praising the song. Even Pop Justice, where normally they destroy whatever she does. I'm sure the album is going to do better than Version of Me.

PS: UK was the bigger market, it left 😈

You do realise the U.K. has not left Europe that’s not actually possible!? It’s left the European Union which not all of the European countries were in anyway. We will always be part of europe you can’t just leave a continent 😂

Down to #16 now I think itunes is a 48 hour rolling chart so the drop could be very harsh today.

Yep, whatever, you guys left the chat. 😂 Just joking. Let's all love each other and stay united. Friendship never ends. 😘

By the way, Sporty is parachuting right now. But I'm glad she's had a few days visibility on iTunes. Hope this somewhat pushes the radios to play the songs, which I think it's a good one.

Nice interview. It's so strange I'm reconnecting with Melanie C music after so many years. Wasn't really into her last albums (though I loved Anymore). I hope she continues with this trajectory.
It’s probably more down to Kenny Rogers songs entering the iTunes Charts now. There’s about 10 of them in the top 40
Who I Am and High Heels have almost the same views on YouTube. But Who I Am in less than a week. Awesome!!
