She likely had a deal to only do one episode so that the producers could have a recognizable "name" participating in it. It happens all the time on The Masked Singer that they'll get someone famous who's "mysteriously" voted off in round 1.

As good as her music has been this year, her live performances recently have been terrible, vocals wise so Im threading with caution :blink:

I got excited when I saw Melanie on the line-up for Jools Holland's Hootenanny on NYE but then realised it was a different artist, not Mel C. :lol:

She did great. Her best vocal this era.

She was absolutely fantastic

Loved the vocals, song choice, staging and look.

 

Obviously it's rather restricted as to what you can do and there's no audience so taking that into account I thought it was great.
