Who would’ve guessed after Perfect Illusion’s chart run that LG6 would give us a POP #1!!

Bought on Amazon and iTunes and streamed all week. So happy she’s the UK #1 and with the album out today 😭💕

No I didn't think she'll get a #1 again after the ARTPOP era. I'm very pleased that she did it.

 

Nice to know how much a #1 means to someone from what she put.

Her statement to the OCC is beautiful. I love what this song means to her, and it means so much to me too. I've spammed it all week, it's just so completely joyous. I'm THRILLED it made #1, it's possibly my favourite #1 since Sign of the Times 3 years ago...!

^ I love how humble she is this far into her career and after earning pretty much every award and accolade there is. A #1 single is still a huge deal for her and she is not afraid to admit that! It's a beautiful post from her :heart:

Shockingly this only debuted at #2 in Australia, just behind DaBaby's Rockstar

 

I mean I say 'just' I have no clue about the figures :lol: Rockstar is still doing ~60k more daily streams than Rain On Me though even with todays update featuring Sour Candy, Stupid Love, and Alice in the Top 50. But then looking at iTunes ROM has been doing way more than double Rockstar all week. They might have a shot next week boosted by the albums released so fingers crossed
