March 17, 20205 yr This is... not the comeback I wanted from Tinie. :( Just sounds like most of the other afro bashment that's been around the past few years. Suppose it makes sense for him to jump on the trend but it's disappointing anyhow.
March 17, 20205 yr I was also thinking the same the other day, I saw a rerun of Graham Norton that had him an guest and I thought how quickly he became super famous but also how quickly he lost it
March 17, 20205 yr He seemed to lose it after the Jess Glynne #1... Youth was a pretty disappointing album. This, in any case, is meh after first listen. I’m not even sure Not3s is a big enough name at the moment to draw the UK hip hop crowd in. Happy to be proven wrong of course and Tinie (note: he’s dropped the Tempah) return to the charts!
March 18, 20205 yr Seems to focus on his fashion brand these days! But yeh this is a lot more Nots3 rather than Tinie as it simply highlights his rapping skills in comparison to 'Pass Out' which was such a statement to start the last decade, seemed like a huge moment at the time. March 20, 20205 yr This sounds exactly what I expected it to sound like. I was painfully bored with this sound two years ago. This is blatant desperate trend-chasing, but I loved his early work. Edited March 20, 20205 yr by HiyaLuv
April 29, 20205 yr Tinie is releasing his next single tomorrow. This one is called Moncler and features Tion Wayne who looks to be helping KSI to his 2nd top 10 this week. The video is dropping on GRM Daily tomorrow which should give it a bit of an advantage over Top Winners but I still cannot see it troubling the top 40. @1255544707498881024
April 29, 20205 yr 'Top Winners' did wayyy better than I expected it to, genuinely didn't think it'd even be troubling the top 100 but it managed to get there and actually hang on for a good few weeks. Thought it was a pretty decent comeback song, it was pretty much your standard Not3s song but with Tinie on the verses but a pretty good hook on it. I think GRM Daily exposure and a Tion Wayne feature could actually possibly get him back in the top 40!
