March 20, 20206 yr Author Poor Sam and Billie, having their songs removed prematurely due to their unfortunate titles, but kinda understandable. I'm expecting the playlist to become a bit more stale over the next few weeks as releases get delayed but for now at least some decent adds, and I've got everything crossed that they're still on board with The Killers and add them next week... and maybe even Ava Max? Also... three songs on the playlist with the word lonely in the title. How apt in these times of increasing self-isolation! Edited March 20, 20206 yr by M4NGO
March 20, 20206 yr Stupid Love A-List And The Man And City Of Angels B-List  Glad Supalonely was added as well
March 20, 20206 yr Not much going on, really surprised at how little Rita's label is pushing the single
March 20, 20206 yr Not much going on, really surprised at how little Rita's label is pushing the single Playlisted a week after release isn’t a poor effort
March 20, 20206 yr Feel like it's a bit silly to remove the Sam and Billie songs...! Capital have been playing both, and have even started playing JP Saxe - If the World Was Ending
March 20, 20206 yr I think Billie's removal is just as much to do with being the theme to a movie that was due out next month, but is now not released until November. Perhaps it will be re-added towards the end of the year?
March 20, 20206 yr Mystery Jets, that's a name from the past! I can't help but feel like Ellie Goulding's days of getting R1 support must be numbered at this stage.
March 20, 20206 yr I've noticed If The World Was Ending by JP Saxe is climbing everywhere including all streaming platforms :o
March 20, 20206 yr This Kim Petras support is so weird to me, for this song of all songs, but as I said last week, I'm super pleased to see it!
March 20, 20206 yr Playlisted a week after release isn’t a poor effort everybody is getting insta-A-listed on week 1 these days you don't have to be Ed Sheeran I'd say Rita Ora is much popular than most and added on week 2 as C-list is kinda poor she's also not getting any Spotify support, which is even more bizarre
March 20, 20206 yr The Rita song is just a bad song, I choose to believe this is the reason for its underperformance/lack of support xx Yay for another Bombay Bicycle Club song getting added! (Albeit now my 2 least favourites of the singles are the only 2 they playlisted  but both are still great songs). Happy to see BENEE added too, little else of note this week. Shame 'SUGAR' is gone and there doesn't seem to have been much of a push in the end for the Dua Lipa remix.
March 20, 20206 yr Author Gaga on the A-list for the first time since 2013 (Applause) :o Since 'Do What U Want' actually, but yeah still 2013
March 20, 20206 yr Yass Stupid Love!! It's an airplay #1 so that's just RIGHT that it's on A list here too
March 20, 20206 yr Mystery Jets, that's a name from the past! I can't help but feel like Ellie Goulding's days of getting R1 support must be numbered at this stage. Did radio 1 not playlist the last era and the first release from this era last year? Ellie will get support she had a no1 in January.
March 20, 20206 yr Author Yeah Mystery Jets did get playlisted last year with 'Screwdriver' - before that it was 2016. Of course Ellie will get added, most likely next week. Edited March 20, 20206 yr by M4NGO
March 21, 20206 yr Author Ellie’s been added this week! Oh yeah, it was Steve's comment that threw me
March 21, 20206 yr Ellie will get support she had a no1 in January. I know she did, but I can't imagine that's the kind of #1 which is really going to have any kind of impact on her career trajectory.
