I echo all the 'Ughhhhh' sentiments at Drake's return but I'll reserve judgement until I hear the song - if it's as super commercial as people are saying and along the lines of say 'Hotline Bling' then who knows, I might even like it?

so there Drake song is gonna be a sorta genetically-engineered song especially for Tok Tok :/

the song is like instructions to do the choreography in TikTok

and the song is named after some TikTok influencer or something

the song is out there so anyone can hear it... I don't think it sounds as commercial as In My Feelings or Nice for What

but sure it's gonna be #1 for the next 10 weeks if it's like TikTok endorsed from the start

The last couple of obvious attempts to make a TikTok hit ('Futsal Shuffle 2020' and 'Yummy') didn't really pan out, the platform tends more towards more ~organically~ viral songs (note how the vast majority of TikTok hits have been by prior unknown artists). Not saying this Drake song won't be a hit, but pandering to TikTok isn't as strong a strategy as it would appear.

are you sure? sounds like a massive #1 to me, it's not Hotline Bling but it's not that different from Life is Good or your average urban hit,

but I'm no Drake expert :D

the chorus part is on YT together with the dance

thats the chorus, literally instruction on how to do the TikTok dance, left foot up, right foot slider etc

I may well be proven wrong but it doesn't sound like a big hit in the way that God's Plan/Nice For What/In My Feelings do.

I'm sure it'll effortlessly slide into the top five but if Life Is Good couldn't go #1 this won't either.

I don't think it'll become one of his biggest hits but I can see the public lapping it up. People are bored at home and a Drake song where he's literally giving instructions for the dance routine is something I can see lots of people recreating and posting online.

Presumably due to the iHeart Living Room concert video they just released.

Drakes someone I really like. He can really bring it and really smash. (And also have the odd track what just isn’t it either). I’ll reserve judgment until I hear it I’m saving the listen until Friday but I’d take Drake over most other males in the chart right now tbh.

If there’s a viral element to it though that should definitely help him out and streaming wise he’ll have a big debut as well. What’s the side of Drake this site prefers? Is it his more R&B side or the Hip Hop side?

^the right answer is NONE :D
