April 25, 20205 yr Ya it would be great if the it can go number 1 and also give foo fighters original a new peak.
April 26, 20205 yr Did anyone listen to the Big Top 40 to see if this was played? The Big Top 40 is still on at the moment, might give it a listen now and see if it's in their top twenty.
April 26, 20205 yr Author The Big Top 40 is still on at the moment, might give it a listen now and see if it's in their top twenty. For some reason I thought it finished at 6
April 26, 20205 yr For some reason I thought it finished at 6  The presenter has confirmed that it WILL be in the top ten when announcing the contenders, so you might want to listen to how they introduce it
April 26, 20205 yr And it was introduced as "a cover of the Foo Fighters' Times Like These" and something like 'and you can see why, because loads of big names have teamed up to raise money for charity'
April 26, 20205 yr Times Like These is number one on the Big Top 40! :o I wonder can it pass 100k sales for this week.
April 26, 20205 yr so it got played but I take it they conveniently ignored it being a BBC single. :P
April 26, 20205 yr Somehow Beth Porch is also actually up a few places to #3 there as well for an all-charity top 3. (Beth Porch was #3 on the OCC sales chart last week but if that's so influential to the Big Top 40 then surely Michael & Tom would still be #1? w/e though, I'm not devoting any further mental energy to the Big Top 40 )
April 27, 20205 yr Somehow Beth Porch is also actually up a few places to #3 there as well for an all-charity top 3. (Beth Porch was #3 on the OCC sales chart last week but if that's so influential to the Big Top 40 then surely Michael & Tom would still be #1? w/e though, I'm not devoting any further mental energy to the Big Top 40 ) It's worth mentioning that the Big Top 40 focuses on Sunday to Saturday rather than Friday to Thursday, so the huge start that Captain Tom had last Friday and Saturday wouldn't count to this week's chart, whilst the Live Lounge Allstars still have the whole period since it went on sale.
April 27, 20205 yr And it was introduced as "a cover of the Foo Fighters' Times Like These" and something like 'and you can see why, because loads of big names have teamed up to raise money for charity' That seems very pathetic tbh, do they really refuse to acknowledge anything BBC/OCC?
April 27, 20205 yr That seems very pathetic tbh, do they really refuse to acknowledge anything BBC/OCC? To be fair it is a rival station. If Capital released a track I’m sure Rádio 1 wouldn’t either. It’s just good business to not mention any of the rivals, They constantly claim they have ‘The Biggest Chart show’ but really it’s just by default because it runs on Heart and Capital... All just good business decisions tbh.
April 30, 20205 yr It may not be #1 officially on Friday.. This is going to come back and haunt me that post from Sunday night tomorrow.
May 1, 20205 yr 64 debut here in Ireland this week. I thought it might manage a bit better than #64
May 1, 20205 yr So pleased this managed to get to #1 - I really didn’t think it had a chance when they were 6k behind in the mids!
May 1, 20205 yr Does anybody have sales so far? I know it sold 66k today but I can't remember it's sales last week.
