There’s more money to be made from an anthology release than an anniversary edition of Forever. That’s why I can see them include a few decent outtakes from Forever on an anthology compilation album to entice die hard fans to buy it.

I guess the mock up hasn't updated yet seeing as that doesn't show a black/red marble vinyl. But 4 collectable art prints is the same feature as the 2020 version... which makes me wonder if it's essentially that but with a different colour vinyl.

Well the last we heard from the source that vinyl wasn’t even planned so this could be a last minute thing. Complaining worked yay!

I doubt it because vinyl pressings have to be planned many weeks (or even months) in advance of happening, in order to secure a slot at a pressing plant!

I guess we’ll have to wait and see if this pops up on other stores soon.

It's a legit store and I'm glad that the fan's sources were wrong (they did say they spoke with the team quite a while ago...)

I just hope there will be a 2CD as well! But if this is it, it is more than what most fans expected anyway lol so I will buy it for sure!

This is considerably lower numbers than Spice25 and Spiceworld25 got to and YET they managed to do huge releases, properly with unreleased tracks, mixes, demos, etc.

A shame that the same record label (and the girls) has decided that there isn't enough incentive for the Forever album to get the same type of treatment... URGH...

I know we will be buying the Forever red-marble vinyl and we are yet to know what else (if anything at all) will be released, but damn it it hurts!

Note that Chemistry actually sold more to reach #71 than Spiceworld needed for #46!

(I know Spiceworld didn’t have the CD contribute in that week, but it was still less sales needed to reach 25 places higher up)

Which makes me wonder how a potential Forever 25 would do tbh, particularly if it did end up just being a vinyl. The 2020 vinyl release of Forever didn’t sell enough to re-enter the Top 200.

Of course, but as you say Spiceworld25 sales that week was hindered by the CD delay!

Yeah Forever would probably sell around what the Chemistry one did overall I would say. If it has a proper release and not just a vinyl, I am sure it will do ok numbers.

That version has also been used to make a studio version with AI which is basically what we would have got. Not normally a fan of AI but that was done very well.
