Forever was the only Spice Girls album I bought, whereas for most it was the only Spice Girls album they didn't buy!!

I love this picture because it looks more fun and natural, like they are proper friends, in opposition to the actual cover where it looks like they were forced to hold hands and smile lol

I quite like a lot of the photos from this photoshoot, just wish they had picked better ones for the cover. It could have been really a great cover. I never liked most of the fan-made ones, but I could see a simple change of photo - with the same logo and font - working well for the intended message/design. They just picked the absolute worst lol

Everyrhing about Forever was awful, from the cover to the music. The cover is very on brand!

Forever has a special sauce that only hot, gorgeous fans can taste. It is an acquired taste and it was made for us, beautiful people. Sorry that you can't experience this joy like the rest of us 😝

There's no sauce in it!!! The flavour is as bland and spiceless as plain dry toast

I do agree that there were so many really lovely group photos from this era, that was just THE WORST photo to choose. I also think the title needed some colour rather than just black since they were all earing black. Ironically, both the Holler and LLLTW single covers would have made much better album covers!

I can't believe all four of them approved it and everyone on their team thought, "yes, that's the one!".

Ahem. Biggest was not releasing a pop album in 1999, having Ego Spice leave them high and dry TWICE, not releasing a Christmas album with the Christmas in Spiceland tour, and releasing Forever as it was

Yeah I actually agree with Michael, there were PLENTY of f*** ups for the girls, but Mr X is right, that was one of them. Not releasing in 1999 was their biggest mistake though, they lost the momentum in the end.

In the US, everyone moved on to Britney and Christina. Then, everywhere, they came back years lster with a pasturised rnb sound, and stripped of the sound thst made them stand out and the sound thst msde them the biggest girl band in hsitory. It rrally made no sende st sll. All their solo orijects were waaay better than Forever too, exceot Mel B's overall album.

LOL... no! Northern Star was the only solo album better than Forever. I think Schizo was very clever from Geri and I appreciate the whole era but the album isn't as good as Forever. The other three... their debut albums are not a patch (although I am finding myself appreciating Victoria's more recently I have to say).
