Both Biff and the girls themselves hinted at WOMAN being released for Forever25.

For me this is not all that much different to listening to a fan-made remix, which aren't exactly real either in the sense that they're unofficial.

 

It appears to be the case that this WOMAN upload is using technology to extract/separate vocals from the live performance, the leaked stems, and I'm assuming that behind the scenes video. Ultimately to create what the final song could sound like, in theory. It's interesting to hear, and in my humble opinion, well made! If they weren't upfront about it being AI created, I think it could have easily fooled people as a leak.

 

I'm not holding my breath for WOMAN in 2025. I'll be thrilled if they stay true to their word and finally deliver it... after twenty six years... but as of right now I don't trust them lol.

I actually really quite like that! I've never really seen the fuss with the song but hearing that version I can see how it could have been a hit for them. Would have fit well with the more Pop sound initially for the third album

Would have been a good singles run for the poppier album. I'd sacrifice it all if it meant we didn't get Holler from a fourth album though.

That woman edit is fairly good, they done a decent job on it.

Holler was always meant to be on the 3rd album. They recorded it during the same month as Woman, August 1999.

I don't think it is the same as a fan-made mix at all, sorry. It is pretense of someone's vocals and intentions, and it just doesn't sit well with me at all. It's actually fake vocals, made up by computer programming and data collection. It is the opposite of art :rolleyes:

 

Fan-made remixes that use real vocals are interesting because it plays on artistic quality, intent and also the real performances of humans. AI is the opposite of that.

 

I prefer to listen to fan-made remixes like this excellent one of Holler and Children, which is an interpretation of what Mel C has been using in her DJ gigs:

Double-time Let Love Lead the Way is actually a bop. It sounds kind of reggae. haha

Let love lead the way is gorgeous, the music is up there as one of their best! It's just the lyrics are a tad cringey at times, a bit (but not as cringey) like Mama.

The song would work as a sample on a new release.
