I never receive things on day of release. I blame the fact my surname begins with a W.

Guessing this may have sold ok? Both versions have sold out at HMV (listed as ‘back in stock soon’) plus a few indies have sold out of the vinyl.

 

The signed prints with the vinyl are no longer listed on the Cherry Red website so at least 1k has been shifted (not all sold to UK fans though).

The album will be a tough sell - it’s around £30 regardless of which format people go for so is certainly a planned purchase.

 

With NN aside from it being her most successful album they also had £10 CDs and Cassettes which helped.

 

 

It is a tough sell due to price and is limited but I think girl might be top 40 in the mids.

Does anyone know if the mids were available back when it was originally released and if so was it ever top 40 in any of the mids.

Received mine yesterday. It’s a nice package but sadly omits the 12’ mix of keep up with the good times which was included for the first time on the 2cd deluxe in 2007. I wonder if the first two albums will also be reissued?

^^ I’d love a reissue of GITY, it’s far from my favourite album but they could do something special with all the content available from that era.

Excited to see its mid position today - hopefully it charts, looking on socials there seems to be lots of posts from UK fans that have bought both versions :cheer:

I love 'Am I Dreaming', but I don't really see it as single material.

 

I think they got the singles pretty much right, I'd have probably released 'Disrememberance' second admittedly but even then I'm not convinced it would've got top 10. An edited 'So In Love With Yourself' could have perhaps worked if they wanted another one.

^^ I agree they were good single choices, I guess my list is placed on songs I like (and ‘Coconut’ added just because it bonkers).

 

‘Disrememberance’ should have been the follow up to AIWD followed by EIW but in the grand scheme of things it wouldn’t have changed the commercial success of the album and I’m sure the single chart positions would have been similar to what we got anyway.

Am I dreaming is so underrated . As well as It’s Amazing!
