Eternal did a terrible job with Dannii, at least with de con it really help kylie find herself and show a brand new identity that really helped her in the long run

 

If it moves dub it, this is kinda like a far long of an interlude track and dannii may aswell not have been part of it as its 99% vocalless, these kinda songs always make me see why dannii had such an up and down music career

If It Moves, the opening gives great promise but the song doesn't live up to the opening.

The song lacks identity, it really could be anyone singing on the track for the little Dannii actually features on the track.

 

 

It’s a ‘dub’ so not meant to have vocals

Another example of why it is clear the team were partly lost with Girl.

next up is the much more popular disremembrance

 

'Disremembrance' bringing the quality right up again! *.* This should have been much bigger, a great 90s dance track doused in melancholy. Reminds me of 'Set You Free'.

The anthem that just keeps on giving - Disremembrance is like AIWD and still sounds amazing now. I still remember rushing out to get CD1 and CD2.

 

Deserved much higher than its #21 peak but I think Eternal has given up at this point - the album had flopped, EIW stalled at #15 and they knew single #3 wouldn’t revive the album and that was the end of the ‘Girl’ era :nocheer:

 

 

Disremembrance, this is like The One in Kylie's career.

Great song but badly handled

This could have had such greater levels of success if handled better.

one of the album highlights, I love this,I took no notice of it on release as I didn’t hear much of it back then but this really should have been the same size hit if not bigger than all I wanna do, this at the least should have been the 2nd single from the album.

Now this is just simply stunning . Get your headphones on or a loud speaker and pump this. It’s a banger with sentimental lyrics which is hard to achieve.

 

This should be a world wide anthem or at-least as known as AIWD!!

 

Randomly she got to perform this song at the Palladium in front of the queen .

It clearly is one of her most popular among fans.

‘Diremembrance’ was also released in a fierce week - there were 8 entries in the Top 20 from big acts like Robbie, Destinys Child, M-People and Hanson so it was always going to struggle to compete.

Its hard to believe it was such a small hit, it def deserved more and if recorded by someone more popular at the time it would have been a big hit i think.

I don’t remember this being a feat on radio . Even EIW got some support. Maybe cos that didn’t do well radio stations stopped supporting.

 

Should always be part of the encore in her gigs.

Forever a highlight for me - I love this song.

 

I saw Dannii on the Unleashed Tour and ‘It’s Amazing’ was a highlight, she used to come and sit on the edge of the stage and invite the audience to leave their seats and stand around her, such a moment - iconic song :wub:

It’s amazing could possibly be her best vocal ever!

Its Amazing, I really like this and a complete change from everything else on the album, prob would not be a good choice of single, but I like the song a lot and would be in my top 5 songs on the album. You hear a different side to dannii on this aswell.
