Random but amazing news! *.*

It's made me revisit the album today. I'm sure I haven't heard it from beginning to end since 2008 (although I listen to certain tracks from it every now and then). It's a great album and it holds up really well after 12 years! I'll definitely return to it more often.

Obviously Migrate is the major fan favourite and considered as a missed single opportunity (Mariah does too). It does seem strange that her label didn't at least target Urban radio with it, considering that it was so warmly received... apart from by Perez Hilton, weirdly, and supposedly his influence~ at the time is what contributed to Migrate not being released. Ugh!

After that listen through, it's reminded me that I'm That Chick was my favourite album track at the time, and I still love it now. My Last.fm stats begin in 2012 and before today I hadn't listened to it at all in the past 8 years. :o I'll definitely be playing it a lot more from now on. I really like Thanx 4 Nothin' too.

So strange that I'll Be Lovin' U Long Time wasn't a bigger hit. Bye Bye was lovely but it seemed to stall the album campaign after the great start with Touch My Body. Maybe they thought it would be a bit of a One Sweet Day moment, but it should have remained as an album track imo.

OMG I love her random bursts of success recently, can this become a more common thing please
It was to do with the physical release being cancelled for I'll Be Lovin' U Long Time underperforming if I remember correctly in the UK. I know it got playlisted.
Releasing Bye Bye as a single was if the label was trying to recreate the magic that We Belong Together had in the US but it failed miserably. The Memoirs Of An Imperfect Angel era had the same thing with I Want To Know What love Is being randomly pushed as a single 👀👀

It was a download only release!

Top 30 on UK iTunes too - you love to see it.

Now is a good time it make a dent on the charts as sales are low.Great few months for Mariah and all based on old material.

Does this stand a chance of making the Album chart? Although, I guess realistically the streams wont be high enough

Cute! (Even though it's my least favourite song on the album  )

The downloads won't be strong enough in the UK to make the Top 200, but she has a very good chance of entering the Top 100 downloads chart.

The download chart would be good enough for me! Perhaps it may get in the R&B chart too :cheer:

I wonder how much the album has sold to date? is 160k too optimistic?

Migrate and I’m That Chick are better than Loving U Long Time
As much as Caution was a move in the right direction, E=MC2 was her last fully decent album imo. I would welcome a return to form along the lines of this album any day to get her some commercial success. I would have gone Touch My Body, Love You Long Time, I Stay In Love and Migrate as singles however Side Effects is my fav song on the album.
Oh oop, it didn't enter the UK Download Top 100 :( I know that the #100 sold 81 downloads, so Mariah sold less than that.
