I forgot 'Passionfruit' actually, that was great! Why can't he do more stuff like that? (i.e. something that sounds like actual thought and effort has gone into it)

We can only pray his new material is of that quality and Toosie Slide was a practical joke.

Savage number 8 and 27. Number 2 combined.

Shocked how high it is. Looks like Drake mixtape doing the opposite for TS and he's losing streams, weird. Anyway it's between this 2 for the top spot for this week. The week after is Ariana and Bieber 600%.

I thought the mixtape came out today? Glad Savage is doing really well! :D Correct me if I'm wrong but when I add the two together it's 384,000 streams so #1 combined?

#1 Blinding Lights 382,209

#8 Savage Remix 240,500

#27 Savage143,782

Yeah Savage is #1 combined! Kinda wished they waited till today to release as I can't see streams holding up that week even with the NMF boost

Drake's mixtape came out today so it won't effect the Spotify chart till tomorrow

Yep, this is what I meant. :P

I know that but look at AM and see it's the last most streamed song. I can expect the same from apofity.

Yap

wow incredible!!! the power of Beyonce :)

This Drake mixtape is half composed of songs that were already out but not on streaming yet + a few songs that leaked a while ago - it's kind of like another 'Care Package' that he's just dropping in the gap before his next full album, except there are actually a few new songs this time (and the 'old' songs aren't anywhere near as old as the stuff on 'Care Package').

Honestly I think he might have just released it due to quarantine boredom just to get more #1s for the sake of it lmao (it'll be his 10th(!) #1 album in the US, assuming it'll very easily get there).

Massive start for Oasis.

Love seeing The Live Lounge AllStars up to #76 too :cheer:

Jesus has he really released 10 albums already :o

10 #1's sounds as big as Elvis or Michael on a paper!!!

'Dark Lane Demo Tapes' will be his 12th project to appear in the album chart in the US! The only ones to not get #1 are the two versions of 'So Far Gone' (it was originally a free mixtape so wasn't eligible to chart but a commercially released shorter EP version of it got #6 in 2009, and the belated full streaming release of the original mixtape charted at #5 last year).

He only has 5 releases that are officially 'albums' ('Thank Me Later', 'Take Care', 'Nothing Was The Same', 'Views' and 'Scorpion'), all of which got #1 in the US as did the mixtape 'If You're Reading This It's Too Late', the collaborative mixtape 'What A Time To Be Alive' with Future, the ""playlist"" 'More Life' and the compilation 'Care Package'. Your mileage may vary on what the actual distinction between album, mixtape, EP, 'playlist' etc. is.

Drake now has all the new album songs placed between 2 and 23 on Apple Music,

including 2,3,4 & 5

guess will be the same tomorrow on Spotify

but surprisingly the release hasn't pushed Slide back to #1

Megan/Beyonce down to #15 on Apple thanks to Drake (original at #53)

the Say So Nicki Minaj Remix in at #58 on Apple (original at #36)

The Apple Music app is actually showing Toosie Slide as #1. For some reason Kworb has it at number 2 though..

The Live Lounge Allstars song is still holding up amazingly well on Apple - it's still at #9 even with so many Drake tracks debuting ahead of it (it's the third highest non-Drake song)! I expect it'll start to drop off pretty soon but looking like a decent sign that the song may not have as sharp a drop-off as 'You'll Never Walk Alone'.

Hmmm... is there an issue with Kworb maybe? Apple Music app shows Live Lounge as #28.
