Very impressive numbers for ROM considering the low Hot Hits placement.

 

I'm assuming Gaga will get HH cover on Friday, album boost, and a good ROM placement so another potential week at #1 even if it misses this week.

The gap was always likely to grow over the first few days, the fact 'Rain On Me' is still holding at #2 is still plenty impressive and its numbers have been holding up extremely well (it still has a big lead over the next highest song that isn't on ACR) which bodes well for it being a long-lived hit. The album release may well boost it to #1 on Spotify or at least push it very close again.

Spotify streaming numbers pretty high yesterday, gives Break My Heart a chance of avoiding ACR maybe. On top of this a load of really random songs re-entering lower down the chart as well as Riptide climbing to #81!

Frustrating to see Think About Things remain at No.51, this time less than 200 streams from the top 50. If I was to stream it 100 times a day (not that I ever would), would Spotify count all of these plays to its daily play count? I’m not sure if Spotify apply their own caps in this scenario or if that’s just an OCC thing.

 

I mean I’m guessing Rockstar’s 531,891 plays yesterday aren’t from all unique users, surely there must be some multiple play counting going on?

KSI dropped the deluxe edition of his album yesterday with 4 extra songs. 3 of them managed to make the top 200 today at #56, #131 & #179

He added 3 extra tracks (+ a remix) onto a deluxe version of the album (I guess trying to increase his chances of getting the #1 album, although this trick won't be as effective as it is in the US where unlimited numbers of songs can contribute to an album's streaming total so a midweek deluxe release can practically double your sales *cough* NAV *cough*). This seems to be an increasing trend of late.
