I don’t think that IDSIF is all that poppy tbh, I’m not convinced it will do that well but it is a track that represents Madonna across the eras so I’m all for sending it as something people will likely not be expecting from us.

I think Sanctuary would blow people’s minds.

 

IDSIF is also an option.

This is going to be so difficult! :lol: We were thinking of sending 'Oh Father' since it was the most popular in the rate and feel, at this stage, is better to send a song that evokes a strong reaction than something that may appeal to everyone but not enough to make their votes. But the responses in here seem to throw us off course again!

Yes I'd say so too. I don't want to be completely defeatist but I suspected this would happen when I saw the category for the round - she just doesn't really have any classics that underperformed in the chart because of that huge run of top 10 singles she achieved - the category benefits more recent acts when it's more common for songs in the download/streaming eras to be successful but peak in the 11-40 region. We're not alone though, pretty similar story for the Spice Girls also to be fair to them.

 

Let's be realistic though, she doesn't have a huge amount of massive fans on the board and she's done incredibly well to even finish 4th! *.*
