Kind of interesting (and I dare say predictable) to see how we've gathered our entries mostly from the first two Spice Girls albums, and that 12 of our 13 entries are all 20+ years old (well, in the case of I Turn to You, very nearly 20). I think most other forums used a wider range of eras to send songs from, with the exception of modern artists like Dua and Zara who only have a couple of eras. A tease: if we do make it to Round 14, the song we use won't be 20+ years old. :thinking:

 

I know it's a bit of a shame to neglect the vast majority of their solo work when there really are some great moments from them away from the group. If and when AF Idol 3.0 happens, we'll try and not fall back on the group singles too often, and try and use different songs.

 

I'm happy Spice Girls forum has managed to make the Top 5 in AF Idol 2.0, I really didn't expect that! Anything beyond this is a bonus! I'm pleased that a lot of people have enjoyed some or even all of the songs. :cheer:

I Turn to You and Never Be The Same Again have been fab spice discoveries from AF Idol (about a month ago the only Mel C songs I knew were Anymore, High Heels and Who I Am oop), I stan that you've given Mel C the solo Spices time to shine in this.

Heaven and Hell (Being Geri Halliwell) can still get its moment to shine tbh

Just done my part and voted for them.

I voted for them and they look to be in with a chance of going through.

The only two that appear to be safe are Gaga and Rihanna (unsurprisingly they are the best two songs), the other 3 look very similar. It's ridiculous how nervous I am about an online flipping song contest :lol:

I am curious to see what option you'll have for Round 14!!!

Loving You is probably the sensible option. Personally I'd prefer something like On the Horizon, Desire or We're Not Gonna Sleep Tonight but I can't see Buzzjack going for any of those :')

Idk the others Joseph mentioned (imma educate myself) but I enjoy On the Horizon, just thought I'd put that out there x

This is actually a shit round for any AF but i feel its gonna be a difficult one for this forum.

On The Horizon I think would be best! 'Loving You' is so dull and 'On The Horizon' is one of my fave Mel C songs.
