Today marks one year since If I Can't Have You was released on 3 May 2019! :o

 

In that time, we've only had one other official release from Shawn (Señorita) excluding his feature on Taylor Swift's Lover remix, but how do you feel about the song now? Has it gone up or down in your affections since it dropped? We've also had a surprisingly brilliant mash-up of the song with Dua Lipa's Don't Start Now put out there too - if you haven't heard that peep it in the If I Can't Have You Now thread! *.*

Personally this has always been my favourite of the two songs we got in 2019 - it just has that edge over Señorita for me. I love them both so much, but this has that extra oomph and every time it comes on shuffle, or I choose to listen, or I hear it on the radio it still absolutely SLAPS. :wub:

I think Senorita is better but I still love this, a great track! Hasn't suffered from overplay at all too.

I don't "love" this, but I can bop to it. I was pretty underwhelmed initially iirc. It just came off as too much of a 'There's Nothing Holding Me Back' retread initiall
