I mean I like ‘Falling’ but it’s just a bit of a nothing song - great beat etc., but could have been sung by anybody.

I think this is what let KM94 down - it was thrown out there that she was working with people like PSB, M-People etc., so there was an expectation of what would be produced.

I think most PSB songs you can tell are theirs where as this seems to have no identity?

I think kylie was meant to work with them again on light years or they submitted a track but it didnt make the album.

Didn't they send tracks for X that got passed on or did I just make that up? I feel like they might have got a bit upset about it.

You wouldnt pick up that pet shop boys wrote the song if you followed their work.,

The closing track (Although 3 bonus tracks are coming up so stay tuned!)

Track 10 - Time Will Pass You By

Written by M-People, I remember there being a lot of hype about their involvement prior to the album release

'Time Will Pass You By' ends the album on a high! I feel like this is most like her PWL, the message of the song in particular is like 'Enjoy Yourself' and 'Things Can Only Get Better'.

When the beat starts you are waiting for Heather Small to start singing - definitely has a M-People vibe to it!

Definitely - it’s almost a closing nod to her past and her bit of pop for the album.

The opening seconds of the song leads you to expect Heather Small to burst into song.

It is 100% clear M People worked on this song.

The song is fabulous, the best track on the album that should have secured single status.

The upbeat trumpet mid song is great and Kylie really throws herself into this song vocally and let's go on it.

Most enjoyable track on the album and a real missed opportunity.

Definitively a "hands in the air" moment and it's a shame that it wasn't a single, though again I do feel like Kylie's being drowned out by the backing track.
Time will pass you by, when I first listened to the album this was the only song I actually liked but wasn’t going like oh my god either but it was catchy, from time to time I used to play the song but given it more time the last few days im loving it. Again when I heard the album I wanted this to be a single and now im like what the hell was wrong with them not releasing this as the third single.

I’m not sure if it would have worked as a single - it definitely would have needed a make over to make it radio ready.

Time Will Pass You By was the most abvious choice for a single.

Radio would have been all over it.

What an album though - no real constant theme, you can tell Kylie was finding her sound and style and enjoying the freedom of doing so!

A makeover? What would you have done differently? I think it's well-suited to radio! :o

Def a mixture of sounds, def an album where kylie really used her voice to the maxinum and she sounds great throughout the album.

Honestly, I think it's a pretty blatant single? The only thing I'd do for it is re-record/mix her vocals and of course shorten it. But it does scream single potential for me.

I wonder if some of the contributors to the album were pissed their songs didn’t make it as singles?
