Japan Bonus Track - Love Is Waiting

 

The backing vocals over power Kylie on Love is Waiting.

I like love is waiting, its a happy enough song but it isnt hugely memorable,

I like LIW - I don’t think it would have added anything to the album had it been available on the standard version, Kylie’s vocals sound good and I guess it’s a bit more pop than some of the tracks on the album.

It wouldnt have added more to the album than is already there.

I can definitively see why they passed this onto b-side status - it's nice enough, but unremarkable and not really as interesting as the other Brothers In Rhythm tracks that made the album.

Didn't they send tracks for X that got passed on or did I just make that up? I feel like they might have got a bit upset about it.

 

I think that was Boy George, unless they also did.

Pet shop boys def did but as you say it i remember hearing boy george did aswell.

I also don't think there's enough room for it - I just realised that the album is 57 minutes long - that's 8 minutes longer than Impossible Princess at 49 minutes (with 12 tracks) and only one minute shorter than Light Years with 14 tracks. :lol: In theory they could've fit it onto the standard edition of course, but I assume they felt the album was long enough as it was!

This is one of my favourite from the KM94 bonus tracks! Love the vibe of the song, it reminds me so much of something but I can't figure it out (no, it's not the original or the sample).

Nothing Can Stop Us, this should have been included on the standard edition of the album.

It has a summer whistle jazz sound that would could have taken the place of Falling on the album.

I only just got back from a trip to the supermarket, otherwise I would have joined in. But I've been reading through the thread and now I really want to give it a full listen.

Again I like ‘Nothing Can Stop Us Now’ but it’s SUCH a Saint Etienne song you are just waiting for Sarah Cracknell to start signing - also listening to it now it sounds like an unfinished demo :kink:

Now Nothing Can Stop Us would've been an excellent addition to the album :wub: Though I'm not sure what I'd bump off in favour of it - maybe just edit down Where Has The Love Gone :lol:

Really like this, it does remind me something else aswell but cant but my finger on it, really dont know why this wasnt on the album. maybe as it was yet another different sound.
