I think that was Boy George, unless they also did.

I found this re: PSB...

Tennant says, "We never heard anything back. I think every songwriter in London wrote songs for Kylie's last album. When we were on tour, we had two male backing singers and both had submitted songs for Kylie's album as well. They never heard anything either."

And the pair insist they will not offer their services to Minogue in future, with Lowe adding. "We won't be doing it again."

Come to think of it, I think Mylo was upset that his songs weren't included on the album too. Seems silly to get annoyed about it, especially when her team had sent out emails to various people asking for songs and so many people wanted to work with her for this album. It's just the nature of the business?

Now Nothing Can Stop Us would've been an excellent addition to the album  Though I'm not sure what I'd bump off in favour of it - maybe just edit down Where Has The Love Gone

yes that would have worked for the timing of the album, some of the songs are too long but if they had been shortened nothing can stop us could easilt fit in an compliment the album as it is better than some of the tracks.

The French version of CIM I love but it haunts me with memories of having to track down the Canadian release which included this and had a different cover sleeve and cost me a fortune :drama:

A bit dramatic to get annoyed about it especially as they’ve said themselves everyone was submitting songs for consideration!! Clearly supply of songs outstripped demand.

With other material from that time as we now know, they could have added one of those songs instead.

KM94 over with :cheer: Thanks everyone - another enjoyable listening party!
Thank you so much for hosting, really enjoyed it just like i did last time, knowing this was the album coming up helped me get back into this album and appreciate more than i did, i still struggle with some of the songs but i like it way more than i remembered.
So far its been albums that people see as less popular, are we better sticking to that say with body language or go with something more popular.
I feel like doing a 90s dancefloor playlist now with Where Has The Love Gone? and Everything But The Girl's Missing (Todd Terry remix)

We have to do this again.

What album would be most suitable for the next party?

We can either go for an old school classic like Kylie or Enjoy Yourself or one that’s not a fan favourite like KMO or Body Language

I'd be here for Body Language! That album needs more appreciation!

I never liked everything but the girls missing song, but seeing todd terry names, i love something going on, i liked that style of music in general, i really miss the good old 90s music, it had so many great songs and i stikll listen to loads of them.

I think body language aswell, purely because it will make me listen to the album again to see if my opinion changes on anything.

Her most iconic album cover :cheeseblock:

I would join in for Body Language and admittedly I would need to do homework on the album as it's not material I listen to.
