Promises, at this point is where I feel the album is all sounding the same.

I look to the album to up the pace but it doesn't happen.

I find the song largely repetitive.

"Sweet Music" is a bit 80s Prince in that he might've written it to his protéeges.

It wouldn't have worked as a single, but I do feel like this is a track that deserves more love than it usually get.

Again ‘Sweet Music’ sounds more like something Lisa Scott Lee would wheel out for her solo career - I don’t hate it but I just don’t love it, a bit bland and generic perhaps?

Sweet Music, very addictive, has sing along qualities and has style.

Prince would have been at home with a song like this but Kylie shines on the track.

I just find I want to hit skip half way through this as there is no difference in the song from the beginning to the end

Red Blooded Woman

The 2nd single from the album peaking at #5 in the UK and #4 in Australia

Red Blooded Woman was extremely derivative of what was popular on the US radio at that point, but it's aged well.

I think it might sound good with a complete country make-over.

Again I wasn’t a fan of RBW when it was released (But of course I duly went out and bought all the formats).

BL was just a big disappointment after ‘Fever’ and it took me years to appreciate the (few :kink:) good songs it had to offer including this gem

Red Blooded Woman, the lalalala in the chorus gives the chorus a strong hook and the piano fade out in the later part of the song is really good.

I enjoy the track more now than when it was in the charts.

I don’t know why but I always feel kylie is trying to be someone else on this, I just never feel its really kylie and its by far my least liked of the 3 singles from the album, I know it has its fans but it doesn’t do much for me and one of my least liked Kylie singles,

'Red Blooded Woman' works great as a transitional piece from the electro first half and the R&B influences second half.

One of my favourite singles from Kylie! I don't think it's that 'American' other than the 'Cry Me a River'/'Survivor' -esque beat.
