After Dark brings me back to feeling here we go again, more of the same sounding songs.

I like 'After Dark' but it's an odd album closer for me. I think the Cathy Dennis connection is what secured it a place on the album.

 

I personally think 'Slo Motion' would have been the perfect way to end the album.

Slow motion is better than After Dark

Slo Motion falls in to the same category as after dark and obsession, just songs that don’t do it for me.

I love ‘Slo Motion’ - there is a long history of decent songs being left off of the main version of the album to be added to international releases as bonus tracks :drama:

Slo Motion, just feels very draining.

Another song of similar style to much of the albums content.

Im feeling a longing for some of Kylies far superior albums.

 

slo motion is very samey as are a few of the things which make the album a long and sometimes hard album to listen to

As I mentioned above, 'Slo Motion' would be my pick as closing song. I just like the idea of the album being bookended by two 'Slow' songs.

Unreleased track ‘On The Up’ from the Body Language era

 

Not sure how 'On the Up' would work on the album, but it is a great track. Perhaps it could have been a B-side? Easily the danciest track from the era.

On the up, isnt bad, its more upbeat as there is no other song like it on the album

It is out of character of all the other songs on offer

It is much better than a few album tracks.

‘On The Up’ :drama: Such a great track and obviously one of the directions the album could have taken whilst they were playing around with songs and sounds., however it would have sounded out of place I guess with Slow, RBW etc., - such a shame as it’s a BOP.

Id have loved more songs like loving days and I feel for you on the album as they stand out on the album as they are very different to all the other songs. This hasn’t changed my opinion much on the album, loving days I will be listening to more off but I cant see myself going back to the album for a long time again.
