When i t was released i knew nothing about it it was a long time after i found out and i was like how did this happen.

 

I still remember it entering at #49 and breaking her run of consecutive Top 20 singles :drama:

I love I Guess I Like It Like That - but you're right, it really doesn't sound like a Kylie track and more like something you'd find on a 90s dance compilation, but that's not an insult. I guess that what happens when you sample several well-known dance tracks at the time.

It's not a terrible album overall but it falls short of the magic of her 3 previous albums but it has its highlight too. Great hosting A and id love to do this again with another album.

Exactly this - it’s a decent track but literally could have been sung by anybody, the general public wouldn’t instantly recognise it as a Kylie track, it could have been performed by just about anyone and have had the same impact.

'I Guess I Like It Like That' is bonkers! :lol: I feel like if you altered the tracking list, removing a couple of songs and adding the likes of 'Closer' and 'Do You Dare?', it wouldn't be so out of place and you'd have nice exploration of dance and new jack swing.

I'd have like it in the middle to have given a much needed lift when first listening to the album as it was the song that saved the akbum from total disappointment for me at the time. This and if were with me now were the 2 songs I liked instantly in the album.

Body Language is a good one - not a fan favourite and also one I rarely listen to in full.

I think I’m in the minority and rate this album really high, yeah it doesn’t have the obvious hits like previous album for overall it’s a total 7/10 for me especially with highlights of If you were with me now and Finer Feelings.

Body language as it's in the less popular but if doing a popular album light years or rhythm of love.

I'm starting to think KM94 if anyone else agrees, I wanna play this album a few times this week so am up for joining in if its this album that is selected.

Good stuff - another album I haven’t listened to from start to finish for a long time :P I might give the vinyl a spin this week rather than stream it.

I had it on today as i havnt listened to it in years but need another play before the listening party.
