‘Surrender’ still sounds amazing now - Kylie’s vocals :wub: Definitely one of the album highlights for me.

Surrender is full of groove and is a very mature song with a seductive sound with a memorable chorus.

I honestly wonder why Surrender wasn't a single - it certainly would've worked better than the Where Is The Feeling remix!

There are great vocals on surrender but to be fair its the same on a good few of the songs on the album.

I think it could have worked as a single, would have been interesting to see how media and the public would have responded to it. It would have been a perfect follow up to PYIMP.

Track 3 - If I Was Your Lover

Easily would have worked better.

Much higher quality of song.

I can see why 'If I Was Your Lover' gets picked out as single potential. Slightly funky sound, solid hook. It's lower end of my album rank but there's no duds on here for me!

95% of the songs on the album would have worked better for a single than where is the feeling.

If I Was Your Lover has a great backing track, but her vocals always felt very unfinished and like they didn't finish mixing them - she sounds so drowned out here! It's a shame, because I feel like if they had fixed that issue it would've been a great song.

‘If I Was Your Lover’ is a solid track and I get why people like it but definitely an album track for me rather than single material.

I can see why If I was your lover, was in the running for a single, it has swagger in the song, groovy type of element.

Track 4 - Where Is The Feeling

 

The 3rd and final single to be lifted from KM94, peaking at #16 in the UK.

 

 

The HATE will roll in but I love ‘Where Is The Feeling’ :drama: I’m pleased we got it as a single.

If I Was Your Lover has an R&B feel that doesn't always suit Kylie but some elements work on this song.

Kylie does sound very strong vocally on this track.

The beat is funky and allows the song to stand out on the album.

The voice spoken words mid-song could be done without.

Not a single that would work.

Where is the feeling I will never understand why it was a single, it’s not that it’s an awful song, it prob would have been fine as an album track but it doesn’t have enough kylie on it plus there are way better songs on the album than it.

'Where is the Feeling' is so joyful! I love the piano that appears throughout the song, particularly the instrumental in the middle. Could do with clipping a minute or two off the length though.

 

I never used to like the video remix. It has grown but still not a patch on the original!

Where is The Feeling, the song that should never have made the selection for serving as the third single.

A Kylie single that performed so poorly and was a wasted opportunity when the album had much better to offer.

I just think with so many better songs on the album they could have got far more out of the single, if where is the feeling hadnt flopped we would have easily got a 4th single which was needed.

It felt like the album was totally done and dusted too by the time they released WITF - I would have understood if they pushed the single to promote an expanded edition of the album but it felt as though they randomly threw it out there to get a few more sales out of the album and that was it.
