Just 5 days to go until the vinyl is released!

 

I've still not listened to this album (other than the singles). :kink: I decided that hearing it for the first time on vinyl is bound to be an interesting experience, so I look forward to that!

:heart: I'm certainly getting more and more excited to hear this different side to Kylie! I'm not exactly sure what's held me back from giving it a listen over the years. I hope I'm into it, but I'm also prepared to give it more listens if it doesn't click straight away!

It is an album i think that needs a few listens, when i first bought it i didnt like some songs but others took longer to grow on me.

Excuse me? An EP for what purpose or significance to anything? What four tracks would you include and why? What would the EP have to do with this album being released on vinyl? :unsure: So many questions ~

 

She is reissuing an album on vinyl, an album that is beloved by her fans. It's a way of allowing fans that maybe didn't experience the album fully in its debut to have a chance to get back into it in present day - let her do that with just this album as it is and maintain its artistic integrity without cheapening the release with a cash-in please. Not everything is about quick and easy cash-ins (although even then, what cash would this 4-track EP even bring in !), it's about commemorating your work and celebrating your art!

I've given up trying to understand the rationale behind some of these suggestions, honestly. It hurts your brain too much otherwise.

The 4 track ep would be pointless. I'm so happy to be getting this finally. I would love kylie to promo the release just to push the album sales and would be happy if she performed a medley of the singles with limbo added in.

To increase the streaming of the album a little more.

The picture disc from her store is Tracked 48, so I likely won't get that until Saturday. Although I had resigned myself to it not coming until sometime in November, so I'm honestly surprised I'm getting it so soon.

 

Marble vinyl Amazon should be here tomorrow (Friday) though!

 

A tiny bit miffed at the Amazon order because it dispatched while the price was £27.12, but it's still on pre-order at the moment and it's reduced to £26.70. Although according to this they should refund me the difference eventually. It's only 42p, but still! :kink:

I have to wait until Monday or Tuesday before mine arrives but something I'm so looking forward to.

Amazon just gave me £5 off is you spend £15 so i may well purchase the marble one......

 

wonder if it will go cheaper after this week? then again it could run out!

Just got an email that my HMV order will arrive today so I’ll at least have 1 copy on release day.
