The rumours of a vinyl coming seem to have completely died down, I was hoping I might have it this Christmas.

I doubt they would release it in Discos prime time for sales.

Possibly could happen towards the end of the Disco campaign.

Ya that would make sense but its the type of release only the fans would buy and she might grab those extra sakes when she is doing promo etc
It is one of Kylie's most eagerly awaited releases among her loyal fans.

We will get it eventually - I don’t know why BMG are dragging their heels on it seeing as they own the rights to the album!

It would be a beautiful celebration of the album with it a quarter of a century old.

I really need to check this album out.

I’ve been meaning to go into Kylies entire discography and I often see this at the top of people’s lists.

I always get confused on the OCC page when I see “Kylie Minogue” twice I can now see why they didn’t go with the Impossible

Princess title here. A reissue / vinyl however I’d much rather chart alongside the original with sales added to it.

IP is not like any other kylie album but just as good in other ways. Many of the songs need a few listens to get into as after a few listens there are many great tracks
Impossible Princess is a unique side of Kylies music which changed her approach to her music career.
It's an album I have to be in the mood for but when I'm in the mood for it I always enjoy it, breathe is one of my most listened to kylie songs.

There are dark themes throughout the album but in parts it is uplifting and easy to listen to, and enjoy.

It is a standout album in Kylies catalogue for a few reasons.

I think as its so different to all her albums it will always stand out and it really is a shame its her lowest selling studio album as it really doesn't deserve to have that accolade.
It is disappointing that it is Kylie's lowest selling album and almost certain to forever hold that accolade.

I knew this album was going to be an experience when the 'Tubular Bells'-esque sounds kicked in 10 seconds into 'Too Far'. What BLINDING production.

Here's my ranking of the tracks but I think I need to give the album more time for it to properly cement itself because there is so much to take in:

01. Breathe

02. Too Far

03. Cowboy Style

04. Some Kind of Bliss

05. Drunk

06. Did It Again

07. Jump

08. Limbo

09. I Don't Need Anyone

10. Say Hey

11. Dreams

12. Through the Years

Album ranking

01. Kylie Minogue

02. Rhythm of Love

03. Impossible Princess

04. Kylie

05. Enjoy Yourself

06. Let's Get To It

I am aware that all my rankings may change as I keep returning to the material but just doing this live as I go and will see how it compares in a few years after the albums become second nature for me.

I'd be here for a re-release of this on vinyl. Preferably with a lovely holographic cover
Listening to IP now - honestly such a masterpiece of an album, I never get bored of listening too it and considering its age it doesn’t sound super dated either.
