Defo number 1 albums were much harder to achieve back then, body language and x both probably show that more clearly as despite kylie been huge at the time and both had big sales neither came anywhere close to number 1

Light years was a big turn around in fortunes after impossible princess.

What are people’s thoughts on the b-sides from Light Years?

Cover Me With Kisses

Paper Dolls

Ocean Blue

Good Life

I’m considering buying there’s singles off eBay just so I can have the b-sides.

Are they good or should I just stick with finding them on YouTube?

Also am I missing any? I gather that the b-sides on Kids are all Robbie Williams songs.

I love ‘Paper Dolls’ it’s become a bit of a fan favourite, the same for ‘Ocean Blue’ however I’m a sucker for Kylie ballads.

None of them were big misses though and it was right to have them as b-sides rather than album tracks but well worth checking out.

Thanks, I’ve just listened to them all bar Good Life on YouTube. They all seem quite pleasant but don’t quite fit the style of Light Years in my view. Though that could be why they were just b-sides.

I purchased the Spinning Around, On A Night Like This and Please Stay singles off eBay today. As well as both versions of Slow and the Red Blooded Woman single as well. I didn’t get Chocolate as City Games is already on iTunes and streaming.

The only one I’m missing now in terms of b-sides from this era is Password on Your Disco Needs You and Physical from a deluxe version of Light Years. I might get the latter, but I think the former will be difficult to get a hold of.

On my Light Years CD, you can hear ‘Password’ as a secret track if you rewind from track 1.

Thanks, I was more referring to having it as a listed track on streaming or iTunes or even a single. I have heard it though, I’m pretty sure.
