Who I Am is good but tbh I dont listen to it anymore as ive grown out of it pretty quickly. Blame It on Me is better, I think, more interesting as a whole.

 

BIOM has now slowed down pretty fast on YouTube views too as soon as it hit 1million views and never did much on Spotify! A shame though. I wish she could get in on playlists on Spotify - hopefully with the next single?!

She've made a lot of promo link on facebook or Insta that help BIOM to get theses 1 million views. It did not came naturaly.

Yeah the youtube numbers cant be looked into too closely as she had paid adverts on YouTube which count as plays if people don't or forget to press skip. As well as paid sponsor adverts for the videos on insta too. I mean I get why she did that as the videos are obviously better selling points than her other videos and more interesting and more likely to make people enjoy the songs more.

Imo Who I Am is better but they're both fab, modern pop songs. Blame It On Me sounds that extra little bit radio friendly maybe?

The orchestral versions were beautiful.

 

Much better than expected.

Im not in love with it to be honest. I would have changed the rhythm of her singing to better accompany the pace and mood of the instruments. They feel detached, specially on Blame It On Me, where she basicall is singing it in the same way that she sings the original, more dance-focused song.

Blame it on me definitely needed more on the chorus from the orchestra, it never built was just very much the same all the way through. Mel C sounded good though and it's great exposure for her. Their youtube channel BBC music has 1.83m subscribers.
