Give it time. Who I Am was added to their playlist a whole month after it was released.

Last week Blame It On Me debuted @ #66 on the UK Downloads Charts (with only two days of sales!). This week it is down to #89:

Download Chart:

29th May 2020

#64 KSI - Houdini (412 downloads)

#66 Melanie C - Blame It on Me

#68 Billie Eilish - Bad Guy (400 downloads)

5th June 2020

#88 Nikko B - Who's That What's That (278 downloads)

#89 Melanie C - Blame It on Me

#95 Khalid & Disclosure - Know Your Worth (261 downloads)

Meaning that Blame It on Me has sold more than 661 downloads, and less than 690, by the end of Thursday.

[Edit: I originally wrote Who I Am! :kink: ]

Wow downloads sales are that poor !! Jesus I knew they was bad but that’s a wake up call.

I could release a song and get a few hundred people to buy to make the charts I reckon .

She's on 912,848 views on Youtube - probably going 1million by tomorrow :cheer:  This is probably her biggest rise so far on that platform! 1million in a week is very good for a Melanie C video!

On Spotify however, she is still on 184,991 plays. It's probably ok for her there, but she really needs support with that platform hey? High Heels was included in the New Friday Releases, but Who I Am and Blame it On Me didnt right?

It seems like Who I Am managed to get to 1million on Spotify thanks mainly to people enjoying the song, rather than because it was included on playlists. She could use that as a point to leverage some support around the album release, I guess... But then again, she really needs a record deal to make that happen :drink:

It's so annoying and frustrating that Spotify has such a huge impact on the charts, it gives older acts very little to no chance of charting as Spotify playlists for new tracks are either bought by record companies or for the very current artists. I mean if it were based on downloads and physicals (with Melanie actually bothering to release one) she would definitely have charted with both WIA and BIOM, albeit very low but still better than nothing.

I hate streaming!
