Yeah it is very telling that Spotify, BBC Radio 1 and Capital FM, the biggest drivers of influence in music in the UK, treat female artists of a certain age so badly. Piss poor, really, and it is about time it gets called out!

Even Emma last year couldnt get on any playlists and that was with the backing of BMG behind her.

Live performance for German TV from her balcony! :cheer:

It looks much better outside not stuck in the corner of the room. I'm glad to see she is doing electronic performances, it works so much better than the acoustic stuff.
Apparently it is now A list on BBC Radio 2
Apparently it is now A list on BBC Radio 2

i've heard it every morning last week and this week so far....

Hopefully that will give her a boost on iTunes!

Hopefully! It's a good move.

When was the last time Mel was A-listed on this radio station?

^ was it as high as top 40?

Didn’t Anymore get A List ?

Weak was her biggest radio hit since On the horizon.

I think Anymore was A-listed too?? Think about it was listed but I think that was B-listed?? Who I am was B-listed.

Radio 2 have been pretty consistent in supporting Melanie C over the past few years to be fair - I think it was only with Beautiful Intentions and This Time where she really didn't get any UK airplay support from BBC stations, I guess because she was kind of stuck between the Radio One and Radio 2 demographic at the time.
She also does a lot of 'work' for radio 2 which helps. She is always on Tues to do segments even when she isn't promoting something, I'm sure her willingness to help them out works in her favour.
its good that she gets radio support at least somewhere. i really wish the album was coming out now as it will be very much a fasnbase buy and right now i think she would have have enough support to get a top 10 album and 4k sales would get her there.
I don’t understand why she hasn’t started pre orders ?
