Gosh I find Schizo so embarassingly cheap pop...... like she went to poundland to produce her own version of the Spice album and it came out really poorly done. It's terrible and it never clicked with me. The only good song I find in it is Someone's Watching Over Me but her vocal is so ghastly on it... it should have been given to someone else to sing it.

The main issues with ANY of their solo albums though, is how they don't sound very well produced probably apart from VB, FM and NS. The production on those sound high quality!

The other main issue with ANY of their solo albums? The lack of the presence of the other 4 Spice Girls on them...

I disagree again, I think other than lift me up, bag it up and you’re in a bubble the rest isn’t actually that pop at all really. Mi Chico Latino and Someone not have a quite a contemporary guitar feel (funnily enough both would fit well on AGLM - and Emma would sound divine on them), Goodnights Kiss and Look at me have very jazzy Shirley Bassey feels, Walkaway and Sometime are both so atmospheric! I do take what you say about her voice, it’s not great and if you’re not a fan then it’s going to be really hard to get past that (I’m the same with Bob Dylan, Kelly Jones, Katy Perry and Rihanna). I just think the album showcases who Geri was, it’s quite brash and raw and very 90s.

I agree about the other four not being present on the solo albums affecting quality somewhat, when listening to some of the great solo tracks they have done I often think, imagine if all 5 had worked with these producers, imagine an album with songs like NBTSA, Northern Star, Mi Chico Latino, What took you so long, Feels so good, Like that enhanced by the other girls flavours too! 😍

I never quite understood when people say they wish they had recorded some of the solo tracks as a group. I think the vast majority of solo tracks are beneath the group's standards of quality, personally, or just totally different altogether.

Mi Chico Latino, Northern Star, What Took you So Long, Feels So Good, are all very of the solo girls that made them and it makes no sense to have the group doing them.

What I meant with my comment was that the main issue with the solos is that they are not Spice Girls projects. Not in the sense that the group would do those projects, but that the solo works have completely deviated them from the group and that f***ing sucks cos we could have had a few more SG albums... but here we are...

A Schizo is straight up pop. Most of it is bubblegum pop trying to pass on as serious. None of it really had stood the test of time either, like most of the solo works.

Anyway, I listened to Take My Breath Away today - WHAT A TUNE!
