August 26, 20204 yr James Arthur is literally begging for his own Dance Vocalist thread isn’t he.
August 26, 20204 yr My predictions for the feature are one of the following; Sigala feat. Bebe Rexha Sigala feat. Foxes Sigala feat. Jess Glynne Sigala feat. MNEK Sigala feat. RAYE I would absolutely love a Sigala feat. Foxes!
August 28, 20204 yr It’s written by Lewis Capaldi and was originally for his album. This is Lewis performing it. Sounding quite good to be fair. QKry5DfeeuE
August 28, 20204 yr Interesting! I can hear James Arthur in Lewis’ voice there so it kind of makes sense he’s the one that’s guesting on this.
September 2, 20204 yr His latest single, Lasting Lover, is out this Friday (Sept. 4) and it's as blockbuster as it sounds on paper: the track was written by Lewis Capaldi - who gifted Sigala the song while he takes a well-earned break - features vocals from James Arthur, and samples MGMT’s 2008 hit Time To Pretend. For those of a certain age, Time To Pretend encapsulates the emotional, psych-rock-pop, snakebite-swigging era of music at the tail-end of the 2000s - something Sigala wanted to infuse into his music right now. "I wanted to do something a little bit different this time," he told us. "Instead of an upbeat club banger I wanted to make an emotional club banger. It really feels like a step in a new direction." How does it happen that a Lewis Capaldi-written song ends up in your lap? We got sent the song as Lewis felt it wasn’t quite right for him to release, so it actually arrived to me as an acoustic track. From there, it has been a really fun challenge to turn what was originally a ballad into a dance track. I have wanted to work with James [Arthur]for ages, and his voice suited the track perfectly, so it all came together really nicely!
September 2, 20204 yr The melting pot of Sigala, James Arthur, Lewis Capaldi and MGMT's Time To Pretend is an interesting combo! Also good to hear Sigala wanting to try something a bit different from what he's done before. He's been one of the better popular DJ's recently.
September 3, 20204 yr agree, would have been the perfect bridge to album 2 maybe he doesn't wanna overkill it
September 4, 20204 yr This sounds pretty massive a future hit for sure. James sounds great on it ! Edited September 4, 20204 yr by troylovesmusic
