Arsenal will offer counselling to captain Granit Xhaka after his angry confrontation with home fans during Sunday's 2-2 draw with Crystal Palace.

The Swiss midfielder was booed while he walked off the pitch, prompting him to cup his ear, walk past boss Unai Emery and storm down the tunnel.

Emery said: "He is upset, devastated and very sad.

"It is not only yesterday and today. He is feeling the supporters don't like him."

Lol wut is going on today

West Ham being hammered

United getting beat

Man City and Liverpool both losing

Where the hell have we suddenly got this defensive ability from?!

[Edit: ...ah, normality has been restored. ]

So in the end Man City and Liverpool both win... oh well.

Both teams are too good and it shows. The mentality amongst both is crazy. Tbf Villa were absolutely dogshite in the 2nd half, was Alamo style defending!

Credit to Lampard and chelsea! Their youth team are really smashing it atm
The scumbag wins will end eventually :P On the plus side my fantasy team had a blinder aside from my captain KBD!

Usually when I watch Liverpool even when we are losing, I always think we will get back in to the game. Today was the first time in forever since I thought we were going to lose, absolutely nothing was going our way, Villa blocking everything and of course the absolutely ridiculous VAR call. The title won't be won or lost next week but it sure makes things spicy!

Good to see Houdini on holiday, I'm sure he will be back if Liverpool get beat next weekend!

I'm still here! My main focus is, always has been & always will be Man United not Liverpool. I only watched the United match and didn't see anything else as I was busy for the rest of the day. Disappointing result obviously against Bournemouth which carries on the 1 step forward, 2 steps back pattern of results. Hopefully we'll be back to winning ways in the league against Brighton next week.

Revisting some of the predictions I made. Nice to see Sheffield United and Brighton doing so well after I tipped them up and no one seemed to agree. Blades are incredible, unique style, unbelievable manager, teams don't know how to cope.

Potter going great guns at Brighton, a lot of pundits look daft after their comments about replacing Hughton with Potter. That squad always had far more potential than Hughton allowed them to play with.

My Leicester tip from July 3rd looking pretty good too. This is the one I want to happen, as I'm quite financially invested in it!

Leicester for top...4 next season?

I think Chelsea, Man Utd and Arsenal are all complete messes and/or have unproven and almost certainly not good enough managers they're bound to climb above at least one, but I don't see not all three.

If only I'd predicted Watford instead of Palace to be the surprise team that struggles...

Been saying that myself about Wilder since he was Northampton manager!

Watford have finally got their first win of the season in the Premier League and are immediately off the bottom of the table somehow.

If Leicester can somehow win the league again I wouldn't mind that! They must be contenders at the very least now. The top 4 as it is now looks very solid and will likely end up being the top 4.

Big gap atm but still very early days. Pool & City are nailed on for top 4 but no guarantee the other 2 are. Chelsea in particular are still very fragile at the back and whilst they've had a good recent run they haven't played any of the so-called big 6 in that run. If they beat City after the int break then we'll talk.

Quite amazing to Sheffield United up there in fifth. Even more amazing that after 12 games, the team in fifth has only won a third of their games!

If Leicester City maintain their form they could be a Top 4 contender. Depends if they can keep the form going throughout the season.
Chelsea won the game but were given a very stiff examination of their top four credentials by a determined Palace side.
