Great win for Crystal Palace today, to come away from Turf Moor with three points and a clean sheet is no mean feat at all!

Watford manager Quique Sanchez Flores is set to be sacked after Saturday's 2-1 loss to Southampton, with the club's hierarchy meeting to decide his future.

Sanchez Flores, in charge for the 2015-16 campaign, was only reappointed on 7 September, replacing Javi Gracia.

But he has failed to achieve an upturn in results with the club winning just one of his 10 league games in charge.

It would only be them. The sooner they disappear from the pl the better.

Now Watford have sacked Sanchez Flores. Watford looks like they will be doomed to relegation this season, I will miss the 6 points that Man Utd usually get from them each season if they do go down.
I think the league is over for Manchester City now, they're gonna be 11 points behind Liverpool by the end of the day. Can't quite believe this after how consistent they have been over the last two seasons.

Football is always like this though, after the standards they set over the past two seasons they would always slightly fall. It'll happen Liverpool too who've been on top form since Jan 2018 now, just hope we can keep it up to win this thing for once in my life.

If it wasn't for us City would still be within a couple of points of the top.

They're a mad club and yeh most teams who go through two or more managers in a season go down.

So have many people signed up to their free month of Amazon Prime for the football coverage?

I might do for the boxing days matches. Haven't been free to be able to watch any of this week's anyhow.

Obviously it's not a great time to be supporting United in general atm but I must say one thing I am enjoying is the fact the big teams ALWAYS underestimate us these days. That's Chelsea twice, Leicester and spurs beaten this season plus we're still the only team to take a point off pool. The greatest satisfaction is of course inflicting Mourinhos first defeat as spurs boss! Rash is a monster in the big matches.

Having said all that im still expecting a hammering at city this weekend.

Unfortunately not, Steve.

That was some Merseyside derby tonight. 7 goals. Not a happy time to be a Everton fan. Now 25 games under Marco Silva that Everton has lost when they have gone behind. Now in the relegation zone. Is it game over now for Marco. Can't see him staying with the form Everton are in now.

A far better performance tonight for Man United. This is what I want to see more of. The only problem is, knowing what this team is like, they’ll go back to underperforming most likely in the Manchester derby.

Imagine if yous had a good midfield.

A lot of the players must have wanted to show Jose what they could do.

Good result for Liverpool - wish we would tighten up the defence.

Me either, I ain't get to watch in Boxing Day anyway and will watch motd tonight and then as well.

I hear Jon Champion & Ally MCoist were reunited for the first time since the World Cup in Russia in commentary!

Silva sacked now, long overdue really.

That's 5 gone before xmas and none of them are Ole. This season will break the record for managerial sackings, I reckon we can get to 11.

Really? I can't see too many other managers getting sacked tbh. Pellegrini maybe, possibly Howe if Bournemouth don't pick up their form but apart from that I can't see too many others. Maybe Norwich might sack Farke but can't see it if I am honest even if they go down.

Pellegrini, Hassenhuttl if they get dragged back down, Potter/Farke aren't safe yet and Ole could still get the boot. Watford could get a couple more in too lol. Funny how Bruce was the favourite at the start of the season and now look!

I'd actually say Howe is the most unsackable out of the whole league! Hes basically a God at that club.

Potter just signed a new 2 year extension, even if they struggle I don't think they will sack him. No way I can see Ole getting the sack unless Man Utd go on a horrendous run of form, otherwise it would have happened by now imo.

There's no way Howe will be sacked by Bournemouth after what he has done for the club over the past 10 years.
