Aguero is always injured, Firmino isn't a profilic goal-scorer. The other 2 will get up there no question.

What's more remarkable is no Sterling, take that season-opener against West Ham out of the equation, he's actually had a pretty shite season by his standards.

How could I forget Kane!!!

Fermino has his highest amount of goals at this stage of a season but he does ALOT more than score for us.

Sterlings been class, he will be up there by the end of the season.

Defeat for Manchester United, meanwhile, means they head into Christmas eighth in the table - their lowest position at this stage of a season since 1989.

We continue to be inconsistent, this is why I never got too excited when we beat Tottenham and Manchester City recently because I knew we could end up having results like this where we can't even go on a winning run of matches. We still find it impossible to keep a clean sheet in the league as well, even against bottom of the table Watford who have been losing left right and centre this season.

Watford have a much better squad than their league position suggests, 11th or 12th best in the league imo. That said it's a disappointing result and like Houdini said we can't even celebrate winning against a rival now as it'll inevitably be followed by a result like this, that is the only thing certain with United atm.

Saddens me to see De Gea's fall too. Never been the same since he fumbled Ronaldo's shot into the net at the World Cup last year.

In the 18 matches played so far our record is:

It's like the team doesn't want to make up it's mind if they want to challenge for top 4 or fight relegation this season! We need to beat Newcastle in the next match to get them back for the defeat earlier in the season.

You remind me so much of Liverpool earlier in the decade it’s absolutely unreal. Can beat the top teams when there’s some space but just don’t have the right players to beat a packed defence. Watford causes us a few issues last week so I suspect certainly for the next few weeks they’ll be a bit harder to beat. Also as dobbo says they have a half decent squad, I certainly think 3-4 players would get picked off if they got relegated.

That Spurs Chelsea game was unbelievable - great free flowing and a bit of bite, couldn't believe Gazzaniga, what was he thinking?

Pity about the rascist incident.

Was another disgraceful scene for English football.

It's knight a matter of time before a team walks off in the middle of a game.

Turning Everton into Champions League contenders will not be "mission impossible", according to new manager Carlo Ancelotti.

Remember that post if it comes back to haunt me.

He wouldn't have them challenging for the title for sure, but it doesn't mean that Solskjaer is a good manager or one who should stay any longer.

Fergie was a great man manager but tactician he was not. Knew how to get the best out of his squad, but save for the last few years of his tenure when he learned from Mourinho/Benitez he was great at getting the best out of his team though. This Man Utd team are light years away from Man City and Liverpool, probably 8 or 9 first team players away. Solskjaer should be sacked but they'll carry on with this project for ages until they pull the line on it eventually.

As for Ancelotti and Everton.. tbf they could get to the Champions League in 2-3 seasons time but again their squad is painfully average and can't be too long before their only good player (Richarlison) gets picked up by a better team.

Great result - We shall not be moved!!!

Still fear city more than Leicester tho so was gutted they beat Leicester last weekend!

Absolutely delighted with that away win at Stamford Bridge today (our first clean sheet in the league since September too!), never saw that coming and amazed by the quality of our two goals too. The second one really is worth watching!

I hear young Obafemi scored.

Didn't see that result at all. Chelsea evening out now. 4th spot is anyone's.

Yeah, that was a really good finish too!

The passing in the build up to the second goal was remarkable though considering it was Southampton doing it against Chelsea.
