Chelsea are very much like United this season. Beat Spurs away no problem but 3 home defeats in a row to West Ham, Bourno & Soton!

Speaking of which it was very unlike United to sweep aside a team who sits back for once. Great performance and proof that Greenwood needs more game time! Still NEVER getting another Clean Sheet though :drama:

Absolutely loved today though. Literally watched 10 hours straight football on Amazon Prime  this is why Boxing Day >>> Christmas Day :D

Great result - We shall not be moved!!!

Still fear city more than Leicester tho so was gutted they beat Leicester last weekend!

yeah City have it in them to go on a 10+ game winning streak, but I just can't see us getting beat 4 times save for a complete disaster of form. City practically need to win every game from here on in.

Boxing Day is always brilliant for football, just a shame the early kick off and the 3pm games lacked the goals and excitement of the later games!

Chelsea have lost back to back home Premier League games for the first time since 2011 under Andre Villas-Boas.
The fixture computer and Amazon probably haven't been kind to Wolves, City at home tomorrow then Liverpool at Anfield less than 48 hours later.
Yeah, that was a really good finish too!

The passing in the build up to the second goal was remarkable though considering it was Southampton doing it against Chelsea.

Saw it on motd, was unreal.

Jordan Ayews for palace was class too!

It's ridiculous like.

Two home games for Liverpool vs Wolves and Sheff United - two teams who I think are better away than at home so will be difficult games.

All games are difficult but the rest Wolves have for the game on Sunday is ridiculous. That's definitely an advantage point, especially if the game tomorrow is high intensity. Sheffield United are better at home, but can be resolute defensively, although I think this is also overrated, certainly in recent form.

Crazy to think Manchester City have lost as many league games as us this season! We're finally going to see Liverpool win a league :drama:

Anyway what is happening to City shows that all periods of dominance will eventually come to an end.

Pep will be the next manager out of the door at this rate! Their defence is arguably worse this season than it was in his first.

Wolves forever the scourge of big teams, genuinely think they're the only other team who could take points off Pool!

They've also lost more games than Sheffield United! Still don't want to say the title is done yet, but that's 14 points and a game in hand for Liverpool. We'll easily drop points in at least 3-4 games, but even accounting for that, I just can't see City putting together the run of form that they need.

Isn't it widely (and probably accurately) claimed that Arteta took for the Arsenal job because City couldn't guarantee him he would be Pep's replacement.. does seem to me there is some truth in this break clause at the end of the season

Wolves big problem now is they play again in less than 48 hours. There's no way they are keeping up the same level of intensity they played at tonight against Liverpool for 90 minytes.

Wolves and Sheff United for 4th spot for me.

Football changes so quickly no matter what money teams have. City have only really had 2 seasons at the top albeit they have totally dominated. This time next season Liverpool could be in that position which I wouldn't care as long as we win this year il did a happy man finally seeing Liverpool win a league.

As long as they stay top 4!

Traore has maybe finally convinced a big 6 club that he's a top quality player as he's now fulfilling that potential he clearly has.

Well they've set a precedent for armpit offsides with Firmino earlier in the season so fair game I suppose.
West Ham have sacked manager Manuel Pellegrini after a 2-1 home defeat by Leicester City - their ninth loss in the past 12 games.
Pellegrini, Hassenhuttl if they get dragged back down, Potter/Farke aren't safe yet and Ole could still get the boot. Watford could get a couple more in too lol. Funny how Bruce was the favourite at the start of the season and now look!

I'd actually say Howe is the most unsackable out of the whole league! Hes basically a God at that club.

Well there's the first. Hassenhuttl appears to have bought himself some time now. Throw Dean Smith in there now though definitely.

Tottenham once again starting the game poorly, can't keep doing that against teams.
The disallowed goal for Pukki was a joke, some ball for it too
