June 29, 20205 yr 62 for Single Ladies!!! Didn’t expect that but not surprised, one of her worst ever songs for me
June 29, 20205 yr Work It Out, Ice, Single Ladies, Get Me Bodied, Why Don't You Love Me? all SO LOW. MESS. Edited June 29, 20205 yr by Slick
June 29, 20205 yr Single Ladies performing as atrociously as that... Don't tell Jay  The Girl Is Mine (with 99 Souls & Brandy) deserved more too, but understandable why it's so low against the artists' "proper" releases ~
June 30, 20205 yr Author I’m not surprised at Single Ladies result but I do wish it had at least made Top 50 over some of what is to come! That said, this is a great collection of singles and especially from now the quality just gets better and better. Expect more shocks to come x

Beyonce - Put It In A Love Song (with Alicia Keys) - 6.75 (less 11s) Bit of a shock exit for Check On It which I would firmly put in the Top 50, whist I also wish Mi Gente and Hymn For The Weekend had a better showing although I'm not too surprised there. What A Feeling is a classic dance tune I'll always associate with 2010s dance music - similar could also be argued for Run The World (Girls) ~ As we approach the Top 50 let's have a little bit of a breakdown! 119. July 1, 20205 yr Top 50 time seems like a good place to jump into the countdown! My thoughts so far: 'Perfect Duet' did not deserve bottom 3. I get that it's overplayed and refuses to leave the chart but I think it's one of Ed's best and Beyonce is a great addition to the song. Pleased that 'Diva' at least made the Top 100 as it could easily have achieved a lower score, but it deserves so much better. Like Slick, I did hate it at first but that's due to 11/12 year old me hating anything that wasn't pop. Easily one of her best now, the lyrics are so catchy and I love the attitude of the track. Shocked at 'The Girl is Mine' and 'Hymn for the Weekend' appearing so low, I swear they've been unfairly rated just because they're not either artists' 'proper' releases as Bal put it. Buzzjack showing they're bizarre taste again with 'Single Ladies' placing at #62. Didn't get chance to rate Kelly's songs but 'Down For Whatever' would have been at least a 9. What a banger!
July 2, 20205 yr Single Ladies and Run The World are both far too high xx (Down For Whatever and Hold Up as well actually lol) That is most of the songs that I strongly dislike gone before the top 50 though, not bad really!
July 2, 20205 yr Author 50. Beyonce - Green Light - 6.75 (more 11s) 49. Destiny's Child - Girl - 6.772 (less 10s) 48. Beyonce - Flawless (feat. Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie or Nicki Minaj) - 6.75 (more 10s) 47. Kelly Rowland - Daylight (feat. Travis McCoy) - 6.833 (less 11s) 46. Beyonce - XO - 6.833 (more 11s) 45. Beyonce - Savage Remix (with Megan Thee Stallion) - 6.875 44. Kelly Rowland - Rose Colored Glasses - 7.05 43. Michelle Williams - We Break The Dawn - 7.05 (more 11s) 42. Beyonce - Deja Vu (feat. Jay Z) - 7.083 (less 10s) 41. Beyonce - Listen - 7.083 (more 10s) And that's it for Michelle! Her last song exits at #43. Not even cracking the Top 40 what a brave girl x Speaking of a girl, outpeaking it's remix/sample/whatever you wanna call it is the original Girl from Destiny's Child also missing the Top 40 along with some more notable hits. Theres some immediate shocks like XO, Listen, and to a lesser degree Flawless and Savage Remix, whilst I'm not overly surprised at Daylight and Deja Vu not doing overly well. Lot's more tiebreakers in this batch too, it seems they never stop
July 3, 20205 yr 'Diva' should have been bottom 2 with Video Phone in all honesty. :puke: But These results are going pretty expectedly for the most part, I'd say on a personal level 'Single Ladies' is probably about in it's right place, but I expected higher for it! But I know it's a very mixed bag on here with that song, always has been! I will forever die on the hill that 'Check On It' is severely underrated! :( What an absolute banger that is. But again, I can't say I'm too surprised at it's positioning. 'We Break The Dawn' deserved top 10, but it's slightly over performed my expectations! A SONG! 'Rose Colored Glasses' is beautiful. I'm lowkey surprised that made top 50! :o 'XO' disgustingly low! I always thought it was appreciated a lot more than DIL until quite recently... which baffles me :\ Was it because it wasn't a bigger hit? Knowing Buzzjack, probably yes.
July 3, 20205 yr 'XO' disgustingly low! I always thought it was appreciated a lot more than DIL until quite recently... which baffles me :\ Was it because it wasn't a bigger hit? Knowing Buzzjack, probably yes. 1. It's a nonevent compared to the dynamic DIL. 2. It's a "wtf" lead single when they literally had top bops in DIL and Blow. 3. It's lacklustre compared to the rest of both Tedder's production discography and self-titled's tracklist.
July 3, 20205 yr 1. It's a nonevent compared to the dynamic DIL. 2. It's a "wtf" lead single when they literally had top bops in DIL and Blow. 3. It's lacklustre compared to the rest of both Tedder's production discography and self-titled's tracklist. All this tbh. It's a song that should be much better than it is, like it's less than the sum of its parts.
