'DNA' is still such a powerhouse of a song. The production on it is my favourite :wub:

I was SO impressed when I heard 'DNA' is was so instant for me. I mean... the 'E.T.' influences are STRONG, but... we love that about it. :heart:

'DNA' is STILL my favourite Little Mix single all these years later :wub: :wub: what a stomper. It has a similar vibe to 'E.T.' for me which was always going to be a winner. The electropop production, bridge, chorus and Leigh's middle 8 <3 it all still sounds so good! The video was a step up from 'Wings' too.

DNA was definitely inspired by their stunning 'E.T.' performance during their time on X Factor. Such a great performance and I was SO happy that they pulled off their own version of it in such spectacular form. One of my highlights of their discography! Feels quite forgotten in terms of General Public nowadays though and that breaks my heart.

 

It still goes OFF!

 

A great 1-2 punch of singles!

I was disappointed when they revealed this was single 3, but now I've done a full 180, I love it and it's message and it really comes across as anthemic live!

They were really giving us the inspirational anthems this era *.* honestly, as a 15-year-old girl under the stress of her GCSEs, these kind of songs were really helpful for me at the time! This hasn't held up as a particular essential but it's cute. The instrumental still popping up as a TV soundbed even now *.*

I absolutely adore this. Such an empowering anthem! My issue with it is minor... Perrie's ad-libbing happens on ALL the choruses... I really don't think that should have been the case! LMAO. Woulda been more powerful to have had a little bit more each time imo.

 

I think this gets such a hard time overall though! I completely understand why it was a single. Their Children In Need Premiere Performance of this is so cute!

Change Your Life is cute enough but I always forget it exists. Iggy's Change Your Life >>>> x

Omg 'Always Be Together' always hits me in the feels - it takes me back to me and some of my friends going our separate ways in terms of schooling as it was time to leave for sixth form, college or getting a job :cry: :lol: the ballads on this album are so underrated!

I LOVE this and I lowkey think, it should have been a single! I'd probably have preferred it to be a single over CYL tbh! I'm so glad the girls think so highly and fondly of this as recent as a month or so ago :wub: SO CUTE and really anthemic!

Alright I'm not even going to lie 'Always Be Together' is underrated and is my favourite album track.

 

I moved to Germany in the Summer even though I had been dating someone back in the UK for a few months and I religiously listened to this after the albums release that winter. Of course we broke up 4 months later and when I returned back to Germany I remember listening to this drunk, it was snowing and I was balling my eyes out.
