2 years since a new lead is a pretty similar gap to the wait between the release of 'Dangerous Woman' and 'no tears left to cry' now! Which would feel pretty standard if she hadn't gone from being everywhere for a good few years to crumbs in the space of a year :lol:

Two years since Ari last dropped an album! 'Focus' also turns 7 today.

We definitely feel overdue something new!

 

I've been listening to the title track a fair bit recently but not going back to this album overall as much as others in his discography.

I still love 'safety net', 'pov', 'positions', 'motive' and '34+35'. 'pov' should've been a huge #1 - so so underrated imo.

i really agree about POV should've been a huge hit.

This album is relevant today for a couple of reasons. Firstly, some merch is back in stock for a 'Rewind collection' on her store, this seems to extend to the deluxe vinyl on her U.S. website but annoyingly not on the U.K. one from a quick browse. Also, Cardi B is a 'motive' stan :P
