I think for pop music avid fans like most here are this won’t hit as hard especially after the gem that was Break Up Song (this is more generic), but a lot of friends considered this more instant. I believe it’ll reasonate better with the GP than BUS.

 

Also it grows so much with every listen, radio hammering it will definitely help.

I'm so confident in this that even the naysayers/mixed reactions on here aren't deterring me from the opinion that the casuals are going to lap this up and it be a big hit for them. :P Such a weird feeling. I usually have doubts around their releases, but this is hitting different for me :lol:

This really reminds me of Love Island and I don’t know why. I really like this a lot though . I like how chilled it is and then it builds and gradually explodes by the time it gets to Perrie’s part . I think the GP will eat this up .

This is their best single since Touch. I'm obsesed with it. Already played it over 50 times.

this song is absolutely a hit - it’s so summery + boppy. there are 3 maybe 4 hooks that grab you even after you’ve finished listening. it sounds like a streaming hit + a radio hit as it’s not too dissimilar to something like ‘say so’ in its tempo + overall vibe.

 

maybe to lm fans who wanted in-your-face, it could be disappointing but to the gp it’s a current, sonically fresh bop.

The only for me it is feels very 2018, might be me but I feel like I've heard it before. it'll be a hit but not a massive one imo, probably similar to BUS which did more than fine in the end.
